I had a lovely relaxing evening at this site! I like camping at remote sites but I can get creeped out if there's no one else around for miles. This was the perfect amount of privacy for me. You can see some houses and lights through the trees a bit but you won't see another person if you don't want to. The site is spacious with all the essentials. The owners were great. I live nearby and hope to return soon!

Loved the site for our tent camping! - location is great, you get trees to cover you from the sun and the wind, plus a nice view of the review if you have a couple of chairs. Decent clean ground and a fire pit. - convenience: good, a solid only toilet and a big jar of potable water at your site, did not try the shower sadly due to heavy rain - owner: friendly and helpful! The also have hens and have eggs for sale, sadly they sold out during our visit. - Animals: owls and coyotes are heard at night, pretty cool! - noise: you do hear the road a little, but it didn't bother us too much

Such a private and peaceful spot. The site was very level and so spacious. The hot outdoor shower at the house was such a bonus. Brought our kayaks with so many lakes nearby to enjoy. The coast was just a half hour drive away and groceries or any needed supplies a 5 minute drive. Although we never met the hosts, they communicated well and available for any questions. Only drawback was the “bucket” toilet. A bit unstable and unsanitary to use. A composting toilet would be such an improvement.

By far, the cleanest, most up to date, and we'll cared for campground we have tried this summer. The hosts were pleasant and friendly. They offered us drinks after our long drive. The music on Saturday night was outstanding, even though it was not my style. We had a great time. I'd recommend Pine Ridge to couples and adults as it is geared toward this crowd. Not really a "kids campground". But that's what I liked about it. Very respectful campers with smiles and a friendly hello.

I cant say enough great things about Pine Ridge, I originally came because I heard they had nice showers, I arrived and booked a second night on the spot. I heard about the Saturday festivities (great live music, a wicked good bon fire, and a great food truck) the owners were some of the most friendly people ive ever met and went above and beyond to make my stay incredible. (I even booked a third night it was so good) from the second I stepped foot on the property I feel welcome and comfortable. Its clear to see the owners truly care about this place. Let me say the reviews of the bathrooms were so right, of my 30 days on the road it was by far the cleanest and nicest bath houses ive seen. 10/10 would come back again.

Mark is a great host and very accommodating, his camp and property are some of the quietest we've ever stayed on with our 16' camper. Each corner of the property is more beautiful than the next. Between the serene pond, swaying maples and a small vineyard, you'll find yourself in no short supply of relaxing scenes. Stop scrolling and book it now! There is no Verizon service at the site but a small walk uphill will get you a bar if need be. Our dogs were on cloud 9 between swimming and frolicing. We will definitely be staying again! A+

A perfect stay. Soft pine underfoot, a lazy creek with a floating launch (if you kayak), a campsite that is somehow 10 degrees cooler than the weather. Hosts are kind communicators and thoughtful (for example, the wood included perfect amounts of paper, kindling, smaller and larger sticks and a jug of potable water). The gentle clucks from happy hens, an organic farm with abundant wildflowers, and an outdoor shower that was a real treat. Camp here if you can!

We stopped here to catch our breath before heading deeper into Maine, and we’re so glad we did. The energy of this place is incredible,friendly, welcoming, and full of charm. Saturday night live music added such a fun and inviting vibe, and the entire property is immaculate. You can really feel the care and love that goes into maintaining it, from outdoor games, disc golf, course, walking trails for your pup, and cozy seating areas, details that make the experience stand out. 💫 And the real gem for me? The bathrooms. Immaculately clean, beautifully designed, with perfect water pressure and plenty of space, no cramped moldy corners here. The concrete floors and tile faux, wood walls , were smart and sanitary, which this girl truly appreciates! This spot is a perfect mix of fun, comfort, and thoughtful design. A total win! Others may work We are in central NH only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire. Whether you are up for just hanging at your campsite, exploring the swamp, picnic in the field overlooking the swamp, visiting the animals, or visiting around town, hiking nearby trials, we are here for your stay! We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers. All of our sites offer potable water, solar shower bags, parking, fire pits, and a picnic table. Welcome Center! complete with a game section, dry firewood bundles, water, fire starter kits, also, extra supplies for purchase such as drinking water, bug spray and some homemade items, eggs, toiletries and some other items to purchase with cash (honor system) or Venmo or PayPal. You don't need to purchase extras online if you'd rather pay here with a cost savings for you :) Onsite also, is a small library inside the Carraige House, let me know if you need a book. The old greenhouse has extra firewood available for your needs, located between 8 and 9 - also some items for you, to use, rent or purchase. Blackberry picking Aug-Sept. 1 pint free and then $5.00 a pint-honor system. Common Area-Strickly foot traffic only, this is a space to enjoy the open sky with a table, firepit and a grill for anyone's use. If you don't want to bring a grill and don't want to cook on grates. It is a first come first serve basis. But maybe your neighbors' will all come and cook with you? Cornhole!! Setup on weekends along the drive and next to the Common Area, find the bags in Welcome Center. The Shelf has many games, please return when not in use. Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating! If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away. Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can. Feel free to msg me or call for questions and information. Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain. Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity. The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so. The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

If you're a larger group booking Salamander Hollow main camp with its Sleeping Library, Tipi & Slovenian Beehive House, you might consider renting this additional Tiny Cabin want to entertain all in glamping style, utilizing its amenities; as well, providing another bathroom/shower and guest bedroom for those who prefer being indoors while in the great outdoors. Note that Kula Bata Tiny Cabin abuts the wheelchair accessible larger bathroom/shower which is available to those at the Salamander Hollow main camp, yet you are secluded with your own private entry points and private bathroom. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. We are located on a private 36 acres of mostly woodland. We abut 100 acres of conservation land and another 100 acres of private woodlands. Park at the end of the dirt portion of Farley Rd and it is a short 5 minute hike to the campsites. There is a marsh and a creek on the property that support myriad wildlife. There are owls, loons, eagles, hawks, hermit thrushes, robins, turkeys, song birds and herons. There are deer, moose, bear(don't leave your food out!), chipmunks, squirrels, opossum, raccoons(don't leave your food out!), skunks, minks, otters and many other species in our neighborhood. We live at the end of a dead end road with very little traffic. No potable water provided, bring a filter and filter fresh water while you are here. While our campground may not be nestled in a dense forest, our grassy and shaded sites provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Our campground boasts essential facilities designed for your convenience and enjoyment. You can take advantage of two bathhouses featuring metered showers, a spacious game room filled with fun activities, and a delightful playground area for the little ones. Additionally, our camp store is stocked with all the essentials you might need during your stay.
