Bring your family & friends to camp at our quiet and very modest small farm. Located in backwoods horse pastures with free range chickens, a dog, and a couple of horses. The property is very spread out and there is an outhouse for all sites to us. Your pets are welcome too! Locally there are state parks with beaches, and state forest for trails & lakes, hiking and biking. Or you can just relax and enjoy the serenity!
Other attractions include local farmers markets, Gilette's Castle, and the famous River Ferry crossing the Connecticut River with a vehicle across to East Haddam.
We cannot allow any wood for camp fires to be brought in form the outside for environmental reasons. It can be purchased for $12 per bundle on this site or $10.00 here at farm.
Farm Fresh eggs daily when available for $4.00 per 1/2 dozen.
No bedding is provided for cabin or trailer sites.
Garbage removal is available as well $5 per bag provided.

This property has been in my family for three generations. It is classic Connecticut with hills and streams and stone walls.
The octagon is a private 122 ft.² that is electrified and heated. It has a full size bed, cabinet and table with chairs. It sits next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, small waterfall, marsh and 2 1/2 miles of hiking trails. There is a fire pit and outdoor dining area next to the octagon. Out house with composting toilet close to octagon is heated. A great place to rejuvenate in the forest! Dogs welcome.

Our extra large tent can hold a family/friend group of up to 8 comfortably, but is also cozy enough for a couple's getaway. Your private campsite is on the edge of a mixed-wood forest. Deer roam free and you will surely hear the call of coyotes and owls at night. Centrally located within 10 minutes of downtown Amherst, 15 minutes to downtown Northampton, this tent is the perfect base camp to access all that this region has to offer. Flea markets and farmers markets on the weekends, malls, museums and numerous restaurants in the area should you decide to venture out for a bite to eat. Holland Glen, a popular hiking spot with waterfalls and swimming holes is a quick 3-minute drive to the trail head. It is an easy 1-mile ride to the start of the Norwotuck Rail Trail a paved bike path through wetlands and rolling farmland. Or simply stay put, unplug, and relax in one of the hammocks or enjoy our one of a kind wood-fired hot tubs! Our guests are welcome to wander around our little homestead have your coffee in the pollinator patch and watch the hummingbirds, butterflies and bees do their thing. Feed the chickens, then nibble your way through our berry patches, fruit trees and gardens and experience what it is like to live simply in New England. Cook a meal over the fire - we will provide the cast iron pans and dishes if needed.

Great Hammock Beach is quiet and quaint in a tidal basin creating sandbars perfect for walking at low tide just off the dock! Enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, kiting, fishing, and viewing wildlife in our protected and preserved surroundings. Perfect for the outdoors type as we have no heat (except for space heaters). There is a large outdoor shower only which is open to the sky and perfect for star-gazing in the steam! Beautiful sunrises to the east of the marsh and breathtaking sunsets to the west over the Sound will make your stay magical and memorable forever!Learn more about this land:Charming beach cottage is comfortable and quaint surrounded by the salt marsh and Long Island Sound, thus called Great Hammock Beach. Awesome natural habitat for fishing, kiting, kayaking, paddle boarding, and communing with wildlife. Guests must bring own linens and paper goods. There is no indoor shower, however, our large outdoor shower is privately enclosed and makes for a unique bathing experience open to the sky and billions of stars! While there are a few blankets inside the house, please note there is no heat except for a couple space heaters. Perfect for the outdoors lover!
