At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers. Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain! Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include… Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping. This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy!

It is heated with two pellet stoves. One in the bedroom wing, the other in the livingroom/kitchen.  Skating, ice fishing, and crosscountry skiing right outside your door when the weather is right. Peace and calm when the weather is harsh. The house is fully stocked with cooking. linens, and a bathroom.  During the summer, glamping in our greenhouse-tent for peace and tranquility.  It is under a canopy of trees with a cool pond breeze prevailing. The bed and linens are first rate for a very comfortable stay. There are shelves, potable water and a desk within. It is heated in the cool temps and fan cooled in the warmer days.  There is a canoe and paddleboard available to borrow. The main house is attached by decks, the bathroom is shared with the main house and there is a kitchen for you to use. The 40 acre pond is 65 feet deep. It is a kettle pond which is spring fed with no river inlets to pollute it.  Access is a little tricky with 100 yard hike from the parking area down a steep slope.  The pond is stocked with bass and trout for great fishing. The birds are amazing.  Henry David Thoreau wrote about White Pond in his book, Walden as the "emerald eyes of the world."  This is a place that magic happens.

We have a total of 12 sites for your enjoyment, there are a few sites here (Site 1, 5 and Site 12) that allow campers and tow behinds. Others may work We are in central NH only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire. Whether you are up for just hanging at your campsite, exploring the swamp, picnic in the field overlooking the swamp, visiting the animals, or visiting around town, hiking nearby trials, we are here for your stay! We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers. All of our sites offer potable water, solar shower bags, parking, fire pits, and a picnic table. Welcome Center! complete with a game section, dry firewood bundles, water, fire starter kits, also, extra supplies for purchase such as drinking water, bug spray and some homemade items, eggs, toiletries and some other items to purchase with cash (honor system) or Venmo or PayPal. Setup on weekends along the drive and next to the Common Area, find the bags in Welcome Center. The Shelf has many games, please return when not in use. Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating! If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away. We had the best time at Lisa's cabin. The cabin was super comfortable and accomodating. It had a everything we need for our stay, from plenty of kitchen supplies to extra blankets. The outhouse was also very clean and just a short walk from the cabin. We also enjoyed the walk down to the river. This spot really has it all. We will be back!

Eben was a fantastic host! Very informative and personable. We closed out the season, so we didn’t get to experience all of the amenities available during warmer times, but the offerings are very well built out and thoughtful (water, showers, bathroom availability, hiking and fruit picking). The campsite itself was gorgeous and very well arranged/maintained. We especially appreciated the type of grill available on the fire pit and fire poker. Can’t wait to stay here again!

I really enjoyed this Hipcamp site. The hosts were quick to respond and even set up the fire pit with wood. It was private, clean, and even lit with lights in the tree above the picnic table. One of the things that I loved about this site is the ability to buy fresh eggs or firewood if needed. I will definitely remember that in the future when I return.

I absolutely loved this country setting and historic 1800’s cottage. It’s basically a whole house to yourself. You will want for nothing. Just bring yourself, clothes & food. There are pots, pans, dishes, utensils and everything you need for a relaxing stay. I sat in the kitchen most of the time, to watch the beautiful horse right outside the sliding glass door. Moonfield I believe his name is. I walked around the property and took in all the charm of this place. It’s decorated appropriately and suits this cottage perfectly. The queen bed was the most comfortable sleep Ive had in a long time. Joan responded to any questions I had with lighting speed. This was the perfect getaway and I can’t wait to book again in the future.

My Wife, Fur Baby, and I stayed at Eben’s land for a weekend and had an Amazing Time!!! Let me start of by saying the host Eben was wonderful!!! He met us upon arrival and was so kind and friendly and welcoming. He goes out of his way to show you how things at the site work and truly makes sure you understand how to operate everything. He had given us a map of the property and showed us everything his land had to offer and asked us what exactly what we were looking to do. Upon us answering what it was we were looking to do his made suggestions to accommodate our needs. He made suggestions around the area that were dog friendly so we would be able to accommodate our fur baby as well. Which was very thoughtful! After we were all set with everything he left us to ourselves and what a beautiful peaceful place it is. We chose the following morning to take a hike around the property and were pleasantly pleased with all the Beautiful Views his property had to offer. There’s nothing better than lying on a hammock and looking at Mountain View’s of the Fall Foliage. It truly looked like views you would see in a book or a movie. They were truly breathtaking. It was so nice to see our fur baby run free in the wilderness and soak up all the new scents. He was in heaven. This place is relaxing, peaceful, and just what we needed to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle of Life. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others and we will most certainly be back without a doubt.

this was our second year camping at this mountain, and we absolutely loved it!! the views from our site was incredible, and eben does a great job taking care of the campsites and seeing if we need anything:) we stayed at pretty much the top of the mountain, and there are definitely some steep spots, just to be cautious of if you have kids! but i 100% recommend!! we stayed at site 3🍁🍂

We loved camping at the site. The amenities were excellent, and the hot tub was super clean. Overall, the experience was 5 stars. This is in no way to denigrate or take away from the positive review. This is only a suggestion moving forward. When we arrived, we were informed that we were unable to use the fire pit because there was a statewide ban due to a drought in New Hampshire. This is no way the problem of the owner of the site. It is out of their control. However, it would have been nice to know upon booking as doing a campfire is an integral part of the camping experience. The site still receives 5 stars :) -Flynn
