From 5 Kezars rd turn right onto Kezars Ridge Drive, the last camp road before the pavement ends.) At 0.6 miles keep right onto 5 Kezar Ponds Road. Look for a GLLT sign on the right. This is the Mountain Trail. There is a second access 0.5 miles farther west on 5 Kezar Ponds Road for Ron’s Loop. Here is a link for all Lovell Land trust trails: https://www.gllt.org/five-kezars-reserve 2 Local waterfalls only 2 miles away. Drive back out to 5 Kezars road. Take a right on the paved road. It will turn back into dirt. Keep on this road until you see a beautiful stone house on your left. Keep going just up the hill and you will see a right turn into the woods where you can park. There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure. Virginia lake is in the White Mountain National forest and is only 6 miles (n a ten minute drive away) Sometimes you have to hike in a bit to get to the beach. Shallow beach is great for children and dogs. Keewayden Lake Dam is a fun place to swim in a local lake. The cabin was adorable. I enjoyed my weekend “unplugged.” There are solar lights which work perfect when the sun goes down. The cabin contained everything needed for cooking. There were several options for additional lights if needed - including lanterns to take to the outhouse. I enjoyed a quiet and relaxing weekend!

Visit our Remote cabin with all the comforts of home. Cook dinner on the fire pit and then relax and enjoy the warm glow of the lights and look at the stars.

5 nights at BrandiLee Woods at the Woolley farm

I loved Sandi and Brandon"s cabin! The land is beautiful and you feel miles away and secluded from everyone else. The cabin itself is very comfortable, clean and cozy. They thought of everything! The covered porch was great and we enjoyed our fires in the fire . The sheep came to visit and were peaceful to watch. I 100% recommend staying here. It's so relaxing!

1 night at Ryegate Away Cabins

I had a great stay at Ryegate. The cabin was warm and homey, a nice break from camping when the rain and cold arrived. Jessica was welcoming, communicative and responsive. She provided good information about the stay and was kind enough to let me use the shower in the farmhouse, which was much appreciated. The cabin really has all you need... shelter, a cozy bed, a microwave, fridge, and coffee station. Sitting on the front porch with coffee overlooking the river and the mountain tree line is a wonderful way to spend a peaceful morning! The cabin is decorated very cute, which is a nice bonus. Note: You need to be up for a bit of outdoor life ... like using an outhouse and washing dishes in a sink outside. It isn't primitive but it is glamping.

Wonderful place all around! This place was so peaceful and beautiful. We loved the added bonus of being able to visit the goats, ducks, and chickens! The cabin was so cozy and warm- perfect for fall. Jessica was an amazing host and super attentive. We hope to visit again!

We had just the BEST stay at the cabin. We brought our 6 month old along for his first stay in nature and he loved it. The cabin is cozy and has everything you need for a nice, quiet weekend away. Sandi and Brandon were amazing hosts and their kindness made the stay even better. 10/10 would recommend. We will be back soon!

The folks at the farm were super kind and it was so incredibly peaceful there! We got to watch the baby highland cow get bottle fed which was such an awesome surprise! Very easy to access from Portland too! I highly recommend going to Elevensies too if you're there on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday!

Beautiful cozy cabin! Very quiet despite being relatively close to the host's house. Able to watch a thunderstorm roll in on the screened in porch 😍. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Woolley farm and really enjoyed getting to disconnect with limited cell service. The animals were delightful, especially the morning wake up call by the sheep who liked to graze by the cabin. Sandi is a such a welcoming host and had great local recommendations.
