*** 2025 Season Update *** As they have put new rock on the gravel road near the property, we are potentially looking at closing our season earlier than planned. This has covered up our previous dust control, which could make it more dusty than anticipated due to higher traffic for an early harvest this year. If you are still needing a place to stay but it looks to be unavailable up to November 1st, just send me a message and we can review options. I want to ensure a positive experience. - Devlin ****50/30/20 amp hookups at each RV Site. *** City life from Lincoln and Omaha can feel a little tight sometimes. Little Rivers Edge is a wonderful spacious campground for the perfect weekend getaway being only 30 minutes down the road. Just a mile outside of Syracuse gives you all the convenience of the town without any of the crowded feeling. So...light a fire and play in the river! We hope you enjoy our little piece of heaven and meet some friends along the way.

DO NOT DRIVE THRU CAMPGROUND My ONE and ONLY Hipcamp site is locate right at the entrance of this small property. All campers must be 35 feet or less in length and given the small size of the campground it's easiest if you arrive before dark. The entrance is on a curve so make sure you enter from the left hand side of the road and don't be afraid to roll thru a little grass to make sure you have plenty of room. Make a hard hairpin turn to the right and your campsite is straight ahead and like everything here, a pull-thru site. (Please see HIPCAMP main photo) This is a long-term campground but I keep this one spot up front for our traveling friends to enjoy as you move across the country as options can be limited. Enjoy your stay and if you're ever unsure about anything just give me a ring. Please make sure to arrive before dark. Small campground and quiet community with minimal lighting can make for a challenging and sometimes disorienting arrival if not careful.

You'll have access to a stable internet connection capable of 60 Mbps, ideal for streaming, browsing, and staying connected. The available 110v outlet is ready to accommodate your small appliances and gadgets. Just 3 miles away, the Rockford State Recreation Area offers a boat ramp and is home to a charming lake. While it may not be the largest, it boasts a swimming beach and supports activities like jet skiing, tubing, and water skiing. An 11-mile journey will take you to the Homestead National Monument, an interesting site that I'll let you discover for yourself. The historical downtown area, nestled along the Blue River, provides a picturesque backdrop. For a relaxing day, consider a kayak rental to drift along this lazy river. The town is home to a brewery and a couple of cozy small-town taverns, offering an inviting atmosphere for an evening out in the heart of the heartland." Meet our two Australian Shepherds, the true stewards of this land, who will greet you with boundless energy and joy. They are the swift guardians of the homestead, their only charge being the human companion they share their home with. I can assure you that my male dogs have been responsibly managed to prevent any unwanted breeding or aggressive behavior towards other dogs.
