This custom designed glamping lodge was a dream of mine for a long time. I wanted a place to go to unwind and be with one with nature. But! wanted it close to town so I do not have to travel far and still be close to the city attractions.
AC and Heat are in the Lodge
The lodge backs up to a large hill--called the Loess Hills. Many deer, raccoon, possum and turkey call it home and so does a few pets of mine to include a mini schwazer and two goats. They just love being adorned by new people. I think you will find this a perfect place for a good nights sleep.

DO NOT DRIVE THRU CAMPGROUND
My ONE and ONLY Hipcamp site is locate right at the entrance of this small property. All campers must be 35 feet or less in length and given the small size of the campground it's easiest if you arrive before dark.
The entrance is on a curve so make sure you enter from the left hand side of the road and don't be afraid to roll thru a little grass to make sure you have plenty of room. Make a hard hairpin turn to the right and your campsite is straight ahead and like everything here, a pull-thru site. (Please see HIPCAMP main photo)
This is a long-term campground but I keep this one spot up front for our traveling friends to enjoy as you move across the country as options can be limited. Enjoy your stay and if you're ever unsure about anything just give me a ring.
Please make sure to arrive before dark. Small campground and quiet community with minimal lighting can make for a challenging and sometimes disorienting arrival if not careful.

The property, purchased in 2016 from hoarders, has been gradually improved by the owners, who are proud of their progress. The front area includes their home, garden (guests can take produce), and a shop for their turf business. Chickens roam freely near the host house, so pets should be monitored. There are also calm honeybees on site. Hipcamp sites are located at the back, along with a pond for swimming and fishing. From May to September, guests can use beach toys, a paddle board, kayak, and paddle boat. Hammocks and a large playground are also available for guests to enjoy.

We have a 5 acre suburban campsite that is quiet, yet close to amenities. Located in south Lincoln between Highway 2 and the city limit, near shopping, restaurants, and breweries. Our property has a small seasonal creek with a walking path next to it and through a forested area and meadow. Cottonwood Creek Camp has one RV site and one Tent site. This can be a peaceful place to stay for a quick stop, an extended stay or even during Husker game-day weekends. We are 6 minutes from Southpoint mall which offers a shuttle to Memorial Stadium. Super Target, Aldi's and many other grocery stores are only 5 minutes away. Disc golf and mini golf courses are 2 miles away. There is also access to the Lincoln bike trails via our residential streets. Laundry is available on site for an extra fee.

You will have private access to the tiny home property from the alley behind the main little brick home. The parking lot can fit up to 2 compact cars along with free street parking. The property is completely fenced off with exception of the driveway.
*This tiny home is located on the same property as the main little brick house but only accessible via the alley. Please do not disturb guests at the main house address that is 6227 Parker St.
Other things to note
Although the unit has a bath tub, the water heater is a limited size and not designed to fill the tub with hot water. This water heater will only support quick showers. I recommend spacing out quick showers for multiple guests.
To add, the fixtures on the tub are just for design. They do not operate. The fixtures for the shower head bucket are located directly above the bath fixtures located on the wall. They can sometimes be hidden by shower curtain.
This is a low flow system that pours out of a bucket. It’s a relaxing old fashioned way of showering. Please do not have expectations of a high pressure shower head you may be accustomed.

I actually did not stay here. I was traveling pretty late at night, so after I reserved the camp site I called Devlin to get more details. It turned out that the campground was much further than I thought and the site I had reserved was a walk-in tent site which would not have worked for me since I'm sleeping in my van. Devlin was kind enough to try to make accommodations for me but also advised me of some other options that would be closer to where I was traveling. He was also very kind to refuse my reservation fee. If I were to travel back in the area, I would not hesitate to stay on Devlin's land. He is a decent and kind person and I'm sure staying there would be a very positive experience!

We love camping at Little River's Edge. Everyone there was so friendly. Campsite B offers several spots to pitch your tent. A little close to the road but nothing we couldn't handle. Nice little hike down to the creek. Will definitely be back.

The space was nice and the employees were very helpful with our late check-in. Clean bathrooms and showers. We were only there for a short time passing through on our long trip so we didn't get to use the other amenities but it looked like a nice place for families to camp. Easy access off the Interstate. We used a space with electric and water hook-ups. I'd stay there again.

Enjoyed watching the fire flies in the evening too. All in all would happily stay again.

This camp is nicely tucked away next to a small river. Lots were level. Saw an eagle, an otter and some small foxes! Relaxing and pretty. Cell reception was great as there aren't big trees in the campground. Trail down to the river is pretty steep and access to the river was uneven but if you can navigate the uneven terrain, it is worth it.

He was really helpful with our needs. Very respectful and responsive fast. Hope you give them a try. Only 1 hour drive from Omaha. Nice drive.

Devlin was amazing! He offered us an upgrade and the site was beautiful! Each site had a picnic table and fire pit with a grate to cook on. The bundles of wood were at the entrance and kept out of the rain. It was very quiet and peaceful despite there being several other campers.
