Site is 7 miles from Deer Lodge, MT. Small fire pit, not great but available for guests unless fireban is on during dry conditions short drive to several acres of public ground, ATV access, hiking, and mountain biking and fishing This is an 80-acre working ranch with cows, irrigation and hay so you may have to drive through the cows and there will be cowpies :-). Great cell service and private property on both sides, easy access to campsite. 10-minute drive to historic Grant Kohrs Ranch, old prison museum and many other unique Montana experiences.

This was a great location for visiting friends in Bozeman. The directions to the site were good and the site was clean, level, completely fenced, and offered electricity and water. We travel with two golden retrievers and after checking with our host, they were allowed to roam freely on the large, fenced property. We are very satisfied RVers and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wild Horse.

These folks were so kind, and finding the space was easy with their published directions. The space is well maintained, and wonderfully peaceful, especially once the traffic on the highway dies down. They even had firewood set out. Awesome.

I love the views, the sunrises and sunsets, the night sky, the horses, the llamas and cows nearby. The gravel roads were not so bad. Pat is an excellent host. She has the right combination of helpfulness and giving me my privacy. A delightful experience with full hookups.

Tent camping on this pasture was GORGEOUS. The host was incredibly kind, communicative, and flexible. Our prior site fell through last minute and the host approved us staying within a few moments. Host is very transparent about amenities and GPS navigation. Would stay again!
