Non bird friendly dogs are NOT welcome as our chickens, our dogs named Clyde and Gus, and 5 super friendly cats are free range on our property. We are located a few minutes from downtown Belgrade, 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman, minutes to fishing, kayaking, paddling, floating on several rivers and 90 miles from Yellowstone Park which you can easily do day trips to if not wanting to bring your campers through the chaos of traffic. Stacie was a very lovely host and greeted me when I arrived. She was super sweet to give some suggestions since my friends and I were on a last minute trip. The location is amazing with beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding farmland. We also liked being able to walk to the Westerner at night (even got taught how to dance by the locals!) and being in between Bozeman and the mountains

Camping here for the night was very convenient for getting into town - as mentioned by others, it is very near the road and there were cars coming past most of the night. If you have an RV or van, the spot is great, I wouldn’t recommend for tent camping and light sleepers though.
Great views of the mountains and having porta potty access was really nice too.

Great spot right on the river! We saw multiple bald eagles and osprey during our stay and really enjoyed how private Spot 2 was!
We didn’t love the gun range across the river, but the sound wasn’t too bad inside the sprinter van - tent campers probably wouldn’t be too happy with it though.

This was one of our favorite stops of the trip! Loved the easy river access for fishing and play. The site was well kept with gorgeous views. Great access to the town market and gas station. Only somewhat down side that I didn’t realize is that it’s right off the road. We don’t mind the white noise of the cars, but just to point it out. Our dogs were off leash the whole time and we felt safe with the road there.

Patricia was very gracious with us during our stay. We initially missing the very clearly labeled signage at the road on the first night due to lack of service and being unable to access any written directions as a result. Despite it being very late, Patricia came out and guided us to our spot.
The site was quiet, spacious, and pleasantly private. We really appreciated being able to let our dogs off leash in the evenings after long days in town.

What a lovely spot! Our favorite so far on our trip! We arrived after dark and Roger’s communication was great, made it easy to find our campsite. Peaceful location, lots of room for our adventurous kids and dogs to roam and play in the river. Loved it!
We enjoyed the low rumbles of the train and there was some action at a shooting range but it sounded more like someone with a nail gun working on a house. Didn’t bother us at all.
Roger and his sweet pup were salt of the earth, genuine Montanans, a breath of fresh air. Personable, welcoming and kind.

Stacy was so kind and incredibly responsive throughout our stay. She shared wonderful local recommendations, and the food was absolutely divine! We did the goat and horse tour, which was one of my favorite parts of the experience. I loved getting to talk with Stacy about our shared passion for horses, and she shared so many stories about her horses and goats. Her genuine love for what she does made the experience even more memorable. We actually stayed here twice, and both visits were wonderful. The mountain views are breathtaking, and although it’s just a couple of minutes from Bozeman, it truly feels like a little slice of heaven away from the city. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and special place to stay!
