Remote subdivision on 4500-foot ridge, 10 miles from Columbus exit 408, off of Interstate 90. Your camping spot is near the road for easy access, but the road is private and dead-ends just beyond my property, so traffic is very minimal. I aim to treat all my guests as if you were a long-time friend. I try to be your personal concierge, so anything you need or want to know, just ask.

RV parking with 30 amp electric hookup. 1/2 mile from Yellowstone river and just 2 miles from fishing access. Close enough to take a day trip to Yellowstone National park. Nice and quiet except for the occasional train that's a ways away but most people say it's not a problem at all.

We are located just 50 miles from Yellowstone park! Please note, our property is not suitable for long-term rentals. In 2004 we purchased the acreage and soon discovered that it is located 1/2 mile from the Horner Buffalo Jump Archeological site. Thus our property, due to its steep terrain immediately took the name “Buffalo Jump”. With its many native trees and bushes the property became an ideal location for an artists studio, and since it had the RV site already in place, we soon had many friends and guests stopping by during the summer months. In 2020 we joined with hipcamp to make the RV site available to select campers. Far back in time the area was utilized by the first campers; Native Americans, who were here living off the land. Artifacts attest to the fact that the property and surrounding regions has been inhabited seasonally for the past ten thousand years.

Campsite roughly 1/2 acre. 12 miles west of Absarokee, 45 miles north of Red Lodge. 2.5 hours from Yellowstone Park. Excellent views!
