Nestled on 60 acres you'll find a private campground in a cottonwood grove just across a log bridge over Miner creek. Across the gravel driveway you'll find a second campground that is tucked back in a secluded cottonwood grove, and further down the driveway, you'll find the 3rd campsite. The campgrounds are 5 minutes to the charming historic downtown of Livingston and the Yellowstone River, 20 minutes to Bozeman, 20 mins to Pine Creek Lodge and an hour to Yellowstone National Park. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are friendly to other dogs. Our dogs freely roam the property.
*All sites share an outhouse located in the parking area by the trail to camp #2. It is only onsite from mid-May to mid-Oct.
#1: "Creekside Oasis" campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, a hammock, solar lighting, and a small portable charcoal grill. Although you can car camp at # 1, please note that the camper spot is just off the gravel driveway, and not across the creek where the tent site, picnic table and fire pit are located.
#2: "Off the Beaten Path" campsite requires a short 1-2 minute walk on a tight, uneven path through the trees. It is a small campsite with a fire ring, 2 camp chairs, hammock, and solar lighting. Do NOT rent this tent site if you need to be close to your car. This site is not on the creek. Creek access is down a trail to the left off the parking area.
#3: "Not for the Faint of Heart" campsite is a 1-2 minute walk from the parking spot on an uneven, tight trail through the trees. It has a fire ring, two camp chairs, solar lighting, hammock, and a small portable grill. Do NOT rent this tent site unless you are ready to explore and do not need to be close to your car. The creek is not right by the tent site like it is in campsite #1. There is a small break in the bushes that gives creek access. This site is bigger than #2.
*NO Car camping is allowed at site 2 or 3.
For all sites:
* Quiet hours from 10pm-8am.
*No parties.
*We recommend you arrive before dark, although the trails are lit by solar lights even with headlamps it can be tricky to find your way thru the trees to camps 2 & 3. Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended for the trails.

Our property is in a close proximity to the Fairweather Fishing access on the Missouri River. Camping is not allowed at the access so we would be the closest camping site to this great outdoor playground. There is opportunity for fishing, floating, boating, hunting and swimming in the summer . There are groves of mature trees and open sites available. This is directly off of paved county road. The railroad is directly across the road from us. And it is loud at all hours of the night depending on its schedule. We would love to be able to somehow control that schedule! We hope the trees help muffle the sound! The property adjacent to ours has the original ranch house and barn and other outbuildings that were part of the Ponderosa Pine Ranch which owned most of the valley we're in. The ranch house and buildings were divided away from our part of the property several years ago, so we have our home here and what was mostly pasture. The campsites are all pasture grass with trees for shade.
We do not have cell phone service here. We have one site that has 30 amp electricity. Also we do not have trash service .

This is a fantastic HipCamp. The location is amazing with great views. The Dude, aka Tyler, is a great host. He introduced himself and helped us get checked in but also gave us some good recommendations for stuff to do and see while we were there. The bathrooms and showers are clean and comfortable. The walk to Pine Creek Lodge is easy. We stayed in one of the RV/Van sites without power. It was level and clean. The cabins and teepees look great and the path to the tent sites is well marked with private and nice tent pads. We will absolutely be visiting again.

Lovely spot, very well kept field. It is next to a road which has virtually no traffic at night and is pretty much totally quiet from around 10pm onwards. Although the freight trains passes on the other side of the road, it just rumbles by without using its horn since there are no crossings nearby. We did not find it intrusive at all. We kept the windows of our camper closed on the road side but had the ones open towards the river. Lovely stroll to the river and a short walk (even mowed a path!) to the nature reserve a few hundred feet away. Alex and Travis were very kind and helpful, excellent communication.

I truck camped at Jammin Jackalope on a Thursday night on my way to Wyoming. The spot is about 7 miles off the main highway, but on a well maintained state road. It is a beautiful drive. When I reached the site, I was immediately greeted by the staff. Good vibes right away. I stayed solo on number 21 which is on the top of the property. All the various Tee Pees and Log cabins along the way are close, but seem to have their own privacy. There are multiple bathroom/showers in the middle of the property. They were very clean. I was not expecting how nice they would be. At night I walked down to the concert by the Lodge, which is an outdoor venue. The night I went it was an ACDC cover band. They were pleasantly incredible and the sound mix was excellent as well as the food and beer choices. The cover price was 35 bucks which I was actually glad to pay because this is a quality space and that’s what it cost to keep venues like this alive. I was amazed to see that people like Steve Earle, the Jayhawks, Ryan Adams,Etc have all played there. Clearly, this place has it together. One thing of note for the venue is that there is a no reentry policy. Something to keep in mind. …As a camper, you’ll probably be hear music till around 10-11 PM or so but if you like music, then you’ll love this place. Even if you don’t, you can just hang at your spot and enjoy the views. I really can’t say enough about my positive experience there and I only hope that I can visit again someday.

We stayed here a few nights while going to Yellowstone and the facilities were nice. Although we were near the laundry, restrooms and showers, it would be nice if there were second facilities for the upper guests as it can be quite a jaunt.

Michael was very responsive when my request was late and very last minute. We appreciated his approval and enjoyed his site. We had an immediate view of chickens and gardens. In the distance we enjoyed mountains and sunsets. Thank you.

Excellent location right outside the Yellowstone North Entrance. Beautiful views and the sites are well maintained. The facilities were convenient and we loved all the elk, bald eagles and osprey we saw. The hosts were so kind too and had great recommendations for Yellowstone. Wonderful stay!

We rented a small back in rv space, it was clean and the staff was very friendly, we only stayed one night but it was probably one of the nicest rv spots we have stayed in we would definitely come again! We used the showers which were also clean and much better than our RV’s tiny shower. We brought 3 large dogs and they even had an awesome “dog park” we could let them go potty in which was so nice
