We loved our stay! The spot was beautiful and we loved being able to let our dogs run around off leash. Maverick ,the owners dog, was so sweet. One of our dogs does not play well with others, but he did great with Maverick. There were rental cabins close by, but it was so quiet and peaceful. You never would’ve known there were other guests around. We will definitely be back!

Came 30 miles off the highway to the address you had on website. Drove inn where cabins are. Couldn’t find anything that looked like full hookup camping. No number to call anymore and nobody to greet and show you where to go. Only who greeted us was a large white dog. We went back 30 miles and stayed in rest stop at Park Cty

10/10 would recommend! Their property is easy to get to and find. Kyler’s wife welcomed us with the up most kindness. We will be back FOR SURE! Their dog Maverick and our dog Bear had so much fun all weekend! Definitely look this spot up you will not be disappointed

Amazing views, truly stunning. We counted 14 deer right outside the camper at one point which was of course neat. The dog Maverick was an absolute gem, we have two dogs that are inconsistent with other dogs but Maverick proved to handle them amazingly and get them comfortable which was incredible to watch. Clear view to sky if you are rocking a Starlink. They had firewood ready for us, unfortunately it snowed pretty decent but still was really nice. Easy access to dump and water fill up.
The only heads up I’d give future hipcampers is the road leading up to it, the first entrance is paved the second is rough gravel. If you find you’ll be pulling left into the location instead of right, it’s probably worth it to backtrack a bit depending on your setup.

We have been to many campgrounds and our fair share of HipCamps and this one by far has the best views we have ever had. Overlooking the Rosebud River Valley and the Beartooth Mountains in a very rural setting was just amazing. Although the hosts house was near by and there were a few cabins on site, the RV site seemed very private. The hookups worked and Ashley and Kyler were very nice and helpful. We hated to leave.

What a beautiful place! Thoughtful touches like stacked firewood along with fire starters, a charming fire pit, and beautiful picnic table.
And the views - absolutely amazing! Each evening spent gazing at the mountains then a sky full of stars once it turned dark.
A perfect spot for our dogs. They loved the meadows and LOVED their dog Maverick - who is the most docile, well-behaved dog ever! We did not see Maverick until we were asked whether it would be okay if he came by and we said absolutely (hopefully this addresses a previous review regarding him). We saw him occasionally, but not too much, and he was a dear every time.
Our hosts could not have been more respectful and welcoming. Quick to answer any questions and so patient with our rowdy dogs.
We did have to do a bit of work as well and the WiFi worked great - no issues at all.
I have only the most positive things to say about our stay - one of our favorite hipcamps without a doubt!

The hosts were very cordial, directions were accurate and the view couldn’t be better.
What did disappoint was not receiving a heads up that we would be required to use four wheel drive to get up the hill-which was no problem for us but may be for others.
Most disappointing -and extremely irritating was the fact that the hosts had family visiting during our stay. There were 8 or 9 children not only doing what children do but racing up and down-repeatedly- in electric cars right by our site. They also had a large dog, a puppy, that while very sweet, would not leave our dog alone-so much so it was hard to walk ours leashed. Obviously, the owners can have visitors and dogs all they like but, I would highly suggest letting clients know beforehand or blocking out those dates when there are going to be that many disturbances that negate why you rented a secluded spot to begin with.

What a beautiful view. We had everything we need to hook up the motorhome. Directions were clear. Only 13 miles from Tippet Rise. We had some fun with the neighbors in the cabin. Great Spot!
