The Gallatin River is famous for it's fly fishing. A short walk and over the bridge will find you at a tributary of the Gallatin River, so you have two places to wade, fish or play in the water. The property is home to whitetail deer, turkey, and American eagles.
The river used to be a tributary, but there was an ice jam that changed the river flow and now the river that runs past our property is the main river. A few good fishing holes off property.

There can be wildlife - large & small game, maybe a few lost cows at times. There can be bugs - mosquitoes & spiders. There can be weeds. Water levels in the river vary dramatically depending on the time of year - sometimes high & fast other times low & slow. Sometimes it'll be really hot, dry & dusty, other times humid & muddy, maybe even flooded in areas, sometimes it can be cold & icy. Our property is in a close proximity to the Fairweather Fishing access on the Missouri River. Camping is not allowed at the access so we would be the closest camping site to this great outdoor playground. There is opportunity for fishing, floating, boating, hunting and swimming in the summer . There are groves of mature trees and open sites available. This is directly off of paved county road. The property adjacent to ours has the original ranch house and barn and other outbuildings that were part of the Ponderosa Pine Ranch which owned most of the valley we're in. The ranch house and buildings were divided away from our part of the property several years ago, so we have our home here and what was mostly pasture. The campsites are all pasture grass with trees for shade.

The space
Glamping at its best! Luxury bedding, down comforters, plush mattresses and cozy decor. Outside there's a firepit and several separate areas to relax and hang out. There is also an 125+ year old root cellar that is made in to a very special protected area for your meals — like a romantic dinner.
Guest access
Parking is right outside of the property. Guests have their own gate in the white picketed fence. The access is flat on grass and there is maybe 150 feet between where you park and the glamping site.
Other things to note
Guest stays at their own risk. There’s a creek, rope-swing, insects, trees to climb and many more things that could be hazardous if not respected. Everyone in your party is responsible for staying safe by being careful and responsible. Parents are responsible for minors. Guests are fully responsible for any pet they bring.
Might be a good idea to bring boots for walking through the morning dew in the grass.

The river isn't a real deep river, a lot of people use it to float on tubes, but it has been known to have some nice fish also. We're located in four corners, across the street from Bozeman Hot Springs. Our sheep camp is less than 200 yards from their front door. It is the closest of any vacation rental to them. The area is semi-rural, featuring farms, neighbor and businesses. Big Sky resort is 42 miles, Bridger Bowl is 26 miles. Bozeman is 7 miles.
We're in rainbow subdivision. possibly Montana's oldest subdivision. We're on Lower Rainbow Road. In the summer we see some spectacular rainbows, many being double rainbows.
Enjoy what this 1-bedroom modern range camp has to offer. Forced air gas heat, Indoor and outdoor kitchen, Two Queen beds, 3/4 bath. Clothes closet and drawers Pantry, Gas range and oven. convection oven and microwave, Keurig coffee maker. Refrigerator/ freezer, Solo fire pit with Adirondak chairs, hardwoods for cooking and softwoods for just general hanging around the campfire, Treager smoker grill, and a Weber propane grill.
If there are more than two people in this camp, it's a small space, and you'd best be the courteous kind. This sheep camp is the real deal. It was made for people who work on the range. Cowboys, sheepherders, and such. As such, you will need to be a bit Western in attitude to fully enjoy it. It is very efficient but taa small space. It works fine as a place to stay, especially for one or two people.
The basic normal things are intuitive. But for using things like the outdoor kitchen, the range oven and awning you may need a quick lesson on how those work. We are happy to teach you. If you want the experience or ambience of using the woodstove then we absolutely require that we instruct you on how to use it first. Using it requires your attention. Before TV and other modern distractions, the fire was the center of our attention and social environment. Giving your stoves fire attention then was easy. It still requires your attention if you choose to use it here.
You can't use the wood stove when it's warm out because it would get too ho in the camp. The fire pit is always allowed.
This unique property provides guests with Wi-Fi, TV, Stereo an iron and ironing board. It has forced-air gas heat for a comfortable stay.
After your day of adventure, take a soak in the hot springs, snuggle up in your nice comfortable bed and that's a very good day.

Water levels in the river vary dramatically depending on the time of year - sometimes high & fast other times low & slow. Sometimes it'll be really hot, dry & dusty, other times humid & muddy, maybe even flooded in areas, sometimes it can be cold & icy. Our property is in a close proximity to the Fairweather Fishing access on the Missouri River. Camping is not allowed at the access so we would be the closest camping site to this great outdoor playground. There is opportunity for fishing, floating, boating, hunting and swimming in the summer . There are groves of mature trees and open sites available. This is directly off of paved county road. The property adjacent to ours has the original ranch house and barn and other outbuildings that were part of the Ponderosa Pine Ranch which owned most of the valley we're in. The space

Parking is right outside of the property. Guests have their own gate in the white picketed fence. The access is flat on grass and there is maybe 150 feet between where you park and the glamping site.

Guest stays at their own risk. There’s a creek, rope-swing, insects, trees to climb and many more things that could be hazardous if not respected. Everyone in your party is responsible for staying safe by being careful and responsible. Parents are responsible for minors. Guests are fully responsible for any pet they bring.

We're located in four corners, across the street from Bozeman Hot Springs. Our sheep camp is less than 200 yards from their front door. It is the closest of any vacation rental to them. The area is semi-rural, featuring farms, neighbor and businesses. Big Sky resort is 42 miles, Bridger Bowl is 26 miles. Bozeman is 7 miles.
We're in rainbow subdivision. possibly Montana's oldest subdivision. We're on Lower Rainbow Road. In the summer we see some spectacular rainbows, many being double rainbows.
Enjoy what this 1-bedroom modern range camp has to offer. Forced air gas heat, Indoor and outdoor kitchen, Two Queen beds, 3/4 bath. Clothes closet and drawers Pantry, Gas range and oven. convection oven and microwave, Keurig coffee maker. Refrigerator/ freezer, Solo fire pit with Adirondak chairs, hardwoods for cooking and softwoods for just general hanging around the campfire, Treager smoker grill, and a Weber propane grill.
If there are more than two people in this camp, it's a small space, and you'd best be the courteous kind. This sheep camp is the real deal. It was made for people who work on the range. Cowboys, sheepherders, and such. As such, you will need to be a bit Western in attitude to fully enjoy it. It is very efficient but taa small space. It works fine as a place to stay, especially for one or two people.
The basic normal things are intuitive. But for using things like the outdoor kitchen, the range oven and awning you may need a quick lesson on how those work. We are happy to teach you. If you want the experience or ambience of using the woodstove then we absolutely require that we instruct you on how to use it first. Using it requires your attention. Before TV and other modern distractions, the fire was the center of our attention and social environment. Giving your stoves fire attention then was easy. It still requires your attention if you choose to use it here.
You can't use the wood stove when it's warm out because it would get too ho in the camp. The fire pit is always allowed.
This unique property provides guests with Wi-Fi, TV, Stereo an iron and ironing board. It has forced-air gas heat for a comfortable stay.
After your day of adventure, take a soak in the hot springs, snuggle up in your nice comfortable bed and that's a very good day.

This is a great spot if you want to be close to Bozeman. The site is easy to access and has a spectacular view of the sunrise. The port-a-potty is clean with automatic lights for easy middle-of-the-night access. Another reviewer mentioned that it felt like you're "camping on someone's front lawn" but we didn't feel that at all: The house is 600' away and we didn't feel like we were even on their property. A reviewer also suggested the option to filter water from the stream, but given the amount of agriculture land upstream, I wouldn't do that.

What a great spot!! After staying at the hot springs for two nights it was WONDERFUL to pull into Stacie’s spot! So quiet with room all around you. The views of both the Gallatin and Bridger mountains is to die for! I pulled up next to her rv (just parked there, no one in it), my 20’ 50 amp cord didn’t reach the outlet tho. She had a standard 120 I could have used but I had a 30 amp extension cord with.
I rode my bike just a mile to the local steak joint and had an amazing burger AND desert! Pizza place is there also. I’d go back in a flash!

My family loved camping close to the creek at liberty acres. They could see the cows off in the distance, the open fields, and the Bridger mountains in the background. They sent me astunning photo with a roll cloud overhead, hoping to see the northern lights after it passed. But they were sound asleep by then.

Our three RV’s privately circled around a beautiful grove of aspens. We could walk through their backyard to a running creek, which our dogs loved! Also, through their backyard is a variety of trails that can actually take you to downtown Bozeman. (The dogs also loved that ;). Travis and Alex were good hosts, meeting us right away to fill us in and invited us to make a fire.
The highway is somewhat close, but the berm creates privacy. Our party had no problem with the traffic and train sounds; it seemed more like white noise to us. I liked their beautiful land and convenient location to downtown Bozeman as well. Nice hosts and great trails!

Awesome place with plenty of room, Roger was awesome! We stayed at site 1 which wasn’t directly on the river but it was a short trail to the river and you had your own private beach. I actually drove my truck down the trail and made it to the beach. 100% recommend.

Great spot next to the river where the kids could splash in the river, we caught trout, watched nesting eagles and enjoyed locally grown corn! We will be back next year!

Peaceful location, loved being near the River. Also nice to have a very clean porta-potty near the campsite. Great little shop (walking distance) to grab bread, sweets and goodies). Met the owners briefly when we were there. Very nice people.

Caroline's Hipcamp was just what we were looking for. It's in a beautiful area with farms all around, yet it feels privat enough as well. The area next to the barn is large and flat. We really enjoyed our time here.

The location was beautiful, there were endless areas to explore, and the hosts were super friendly and extremely accommodating. The view from the fire pit is a dream. Access was easy and instructions were clear. Highly recommend and would gladly stay again!

This spot is a true gem on the river and the hosts are lovely. It was incredible falling asleep under the stars to the sound of the wind in the trees. Train noises wasn’t a problem with the sound of the water and ear plugs. We’ll definitely stay here again!
