We are small town Kansas natives who fell in love with Montana over 15 years ago. The Holmestead is a rustic dry cabin on 5 acres nestled between Mill Creek and a seasonal run off stream with easy access to the highway and only a 10 min drive to Missoula. A queen bed, futon and air mattress are available for sleeping!
Family and pet friendly property with plenty of space to pitch a tent next to the cabin if you have more guests in your party (tents will be an additional fee, $10 per person in addition to the 4 person cabin max). Excellent cell service if you have Verizon or carriers that pull from those towers.
Attractions: Walking distance to forestry service roads. 15 minutes to the Missoula Airport and an additional 10 minutes to the heart of Missoula and all it has to offer. If you are looking for more adventure there is always an endless amount of recreation near, whether you want to drive 5 minutes to mountain bike or 3 hours to Glacier National Park, there is something for everyone! Parking: Reserved parking for guests in the main driveway or in the clearing near the cabin.
Water: Portable toilet onsite, sealson warm shower and sink also available, we recently upgraded to a JOOLCA hot water system so guests can have running water and a warm outdoor shower. We provide 5 gal of potable water in the colder months and have running water nearby for easy refill of water containers if needed in the warmer months.

Shade is unavailable, though evenings in Montana cool down quite nicely.
Post Creek, located just down the hill to the east, is home to a variety of wild life such as, White-tailed deer, EIK, Coyotes, Grizzly Bears, Bald Eagles, Hawks, Canadian Geese, Pheasants and Blue Heron to name a few!
This 13 acre private property is situated on the Flathead Indian Reservation of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. The area surrounding Post Creek is Tribal Conservation land and serves as a corridor for wildlife crossing over to the Ninepipes Wildlife Refuge (3 miles north and west of the camp site).
Tribal permits are required for fishing and recreating on the reservation. We are approximately 48 miles north of Missoula and 70 miles south of Kalispell. This would serve as a nice base camp if you wish to explore the numerous attractions nearby.
The Saint Ignatius Mission, National Bison range, McDonald Lake, Ninepipes Wildlife Refuge, and Flathead Lake (21 miles north) are all within a short drive from the camp site.
There are numerous little towns nearby that offer their own unique shops, restaurants craft breweries, music, entertainment, golf, and museums. Museums of early Montana is just 3 miles north right next to the Ninepipe Lodge, restaurant, bar, espresso and gift shop.

Located in Big Arm, Montana, Wild Horse RV Resort is a newer RV park that has individual owners and the lots are larger than a typical site. We own Lot 1 and it is FRONT ROW! No camper will block your views. This lot is also slightly larger than the others at about 60' x 100' and can accommodate large recreational vehicles. Wild Horse RV is a wonderful community of owners who love being near Flathead Lake, Glacier National Park and all things Montana! Big Arm Marina is just across HWY 93 and you can bring your boat and rent a slip (if there is availability), have dinner and just enjoy amazing sunsets on the lake. From our wonderful camp spot, you will have a beautiful view of Flathead Lake and the surrounding mountains. It is just so peaceful!
Our layout is designed as a Pull-In Site for Motorcoaches. Hookups are on the LEFT side if you pull in... 5th Wheels and trailers will also work. You can pull in and disconnect. You are allowed to pull your truck through the middle of the aisle between the lots. However, once you reconnect, you will need to back your rig out unless no one is in Lot 2 and then you can pull through.
Our site features wonderful lake views and we have full hook-ups (water, sewer & electricity - 50 amp) for your convenience . We have a gazebo with a gas-fire patio table - If you use the gas fire patio table, I do ask that you fill it before you leave so the next guest can use it. Dogs are allowed but need to be leashed and due to fire restrictions no wood fires are allowed (only gas). Also, HOA rules state no tents.

HOA rules stipulate that the minimum stay is 7-nights. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to grant shorter stays. Month to Month is also available. Quiet getaway in the pines! Welcome to the Holmestead, our own little slice of Montana that we are really excited to bring back to life and share with YOU! We are small town Kansas natives who fell in love with Montana over 15 years ago. This property is equal parts privacy and concience, you can enjoy the peace and quite of nature while also having the ability to hop over a few miles to our little town for groceries, a local beer, or to gas up your car!
The Holmestead is a rustic dry cabin on 5 acres nestled between Mill Creek and a seasonal run off stream with easy access to the highway and only a 10 min drive to Missoula. A queen bed, futon and air mattress are available for sleeping!
Family and pet friendly property with plenty of space to pitch a tent next to the cabin if you have more guests in your party (tents will be an additional fee, $10 per person in addition to the 4 person cabin max). Excellent cell service if you have Verizon or carriers that pull from those towers.
Attractions: Walking distance to forestry service roads. 15 minutes to the Missoula Airport and an additional 10 minutes to the heart of Missoula and all it has to offer. If you are looking for more adventure there is always an endless amount of recreation near, whether you want to drive 5 minutes to mountain bike or 3 hours to Glacier National Park, there is something for everyone! Parking: Reserved parking for guests in the main driveway or in the clearing near the cabin.
Water: Portable toilet onsite, sealson warm shower and sink also available, we recently upgraded to a JOOLCA hot water system so guests can have running water and a warm outdoor shower. We provide 5 gal of potable water in the colder months and have running water nearby for easy refill of water containers if needed in the warmer months.
We look forward to sharing our piece of Montana with you!
Pets allowed. We do have 2 very frienly dogs that roam the property freely, if you pet is reactive please let us know so we can monitor our dogs when letting them outside to do their business. Please be sure to pick up after your animals.

Mission Mountain Field of Dreams - A captivating view of the stunning Mission Mountains on two acres of fenced, flat, mowed pasture, less than .2 miles off Highway 93. No long, dusty gravel roads to travel to access this convenient campsite! We are just 91 miles south of Glacier National Park, making this a perfect over night spot to rest and regroup for whatever adventures lie ahead. You will experience some traffic noise due to the close proximity to the highway, however, later evening and early morning hours are fairly quiet. This open spacious area offers free choice parking with unobstructed views of the mountains.
Shade is unavailable, though evenings in Montana cool down quite nicely.
Post Creek, located just down the hill to the east, is home to a variety of wild life such as, White-tailed deer, EIK, Coyotes, Grizzly Bears, Bald Eagles, Hawks, Canadian Geese, Pheasants and Blue Heron to name a few!
This 13 acre private property is situated on the Flathead Indian Reservation of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. The area surrounding Post Creek is Tribal Conservation land and serves as a corridor for wildlife crossing over to the Ninepipes Wildlife Refuge (3 miles north and west of the camp site).
Tribal permits are required for fishing and recreating on the reservation. We are approximately 48 miles north of Missoula and 70 miles south of Kalispell. This would serve as a nice base camp if you wish to explore the numerous attractions nearby.
The Saint Ignatius Mission, National Bison range, McDonald Lake, Ninepipes Wildlife Refuge, and Flathead Lake (21 miles north) are all within a short drive from the camp site.
There are numerous little towns nearby that offer their own unique shops, restaurants craft breweries, music, entertainment, golf, and museums. Museums of early Montana is just 3 miles north right next to the Ninepipe Lodge, restaurant, bar, espresso and gift shop.

Welcome to our working horse ranch, home to Belgian heavy draft and Friesian horses. We offer carriage, wagon, and sleigh rides (availability may vary), and camping is set in a lush green horse pasture that is not currently in use.
Because this is an active ranch, you may hear typical ranch sounds throughout the day. Work often begins around 7:00 AM, and occasionally activity may continue into the evening or late at night.
We usually greet guests upon arrival whenever possible. However, since we may be out working when you arrive, we’ll send a text with check-in and arrival instructions. You’re always welcome to call if you have questions or run into any issues.
A quick note about the roads: several reviews mention the county gravel roads leading to our property. From Hwy 93, there are three turnoffs that all bring you here—each is about 3 miles and similar in distance and condition. Road quality mainly depends on how recently the county grader has passed through. This is Montana—we love our gravel roads, and we like taking it slow!

Located in Big Arm, Montana, Wild Horse RV Resort is a newer RV park that has individual owners and the lots are larger than a typical site. We own Lot 1 and it is FRONT ROW! No camper will block your views. This lot is also slightly larger than the others at about 60' x 100' and can accommodate large recreational vehicles. Wild Horse RV is a wonderful community of owners who love being near Flathead Lake, Glacier National Park and all things Montana! Big Arm Marina is just across HWY 93 and you can bring your boat and rent a slip (if there is availability), have dinner and just enjoy amazing sunsets on the lake. From our wonderful camp spot, you will have a beautiful view of Flathead Lake and the surrounding mountains. It is just so peaceful!
Our layout is designed as a Pull-In Site for Motorcoaches. Hookups are on the LEFT side if you pull in... 5th Wheels and trailers will also work. You can pull in and disconnect. You are allowed to pull your truck through the middle of the aisle between the lots. However, once you reconnect, you will need to back your rig out unless no one is in Lot 2 and then you can pull through.
Our site features wonderful lake views and we have full hook-ups (water, sewer & electricity - 50 amp) for your convenience . We have a gazebo with a gas-fire patio table - If you use the gas fire patio table, I do ask that you fill it before you leave so the next guest can use it. Dogs are allowed but need to be leashed and due to fire restrictions no wood fires are allowed (only gas). Also, HOA rules state no tents.

HOA rules stipulate that the minimum stay is 7-nights. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to grant shorter stays. Month to Month is also available. PLEASE clean up the lot upon departure - please don't leave food or gunk on the tables or trash around the site. Be kind and leave it nice for the next guest. This includes picking up any pet messes. :)

This large lot (over 50' x 100') includes a concrete pad, gazebo, picnic table, and a gas fire table (bring your own propane tank). The site accommodates a recreational vehicle plus additional vehicles, with room for a boat or jet skis. Hookups include water, sewer, and 30/50-amp electric service.
Wild Horse RV Resort is a newer RV community offering a small clubhouse with a grill and a pickleball court. Dogs are welcome (leash required), and there’s plenty of space for walking and play.

The resort is conveniently located just across Hwy 93 from Flathead Lake and Big Arm Marina—about a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute drive.

I ended up at Cody’s at kind of the last second and he and his wife were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The space is really clean and well kept. Me and my dogs slept great. I would have booked another night but had plans for the next evening already. I highly recommend this spot - a steal for the price.

Had the whole place to myself. Very nice, amazing view, and my site was very clean. If you're using a tent it can be a bit of a pain to get the stakes in the ground, as it's a bit rocky; it could've just been me tho, as it was my first time camping. There are train tracks near by, but the sound wasn't too bad--it was sort of relaxing honestly. You're also close enough to a little town that you can get emergency supplies if needed, but far enough removed that it feels far out. The host was super nice as well. All in all, great experience, especially for first time campers!
