We live on 10 acres of mixed forest and field. In the summer we have an active blacksmithing school and flower farm here. The idea of a sustainable, self reliant lifestyle has always been part of our life and passing it down to others is a joy for us. Cherry season this year will be from July 18th to Aug 5th. Nearby attractions include: Access to Flathead Lake is less than a 1/2 mile down the driveway. Flathead Lake (Finley Point) State Park is only 2 miles away. At the entrance to Finley Point, we have two great Restaurants, Finley Point Grill and the Smokehouse (Highly Recommended!). The town of Polson is 20 minutes away. You can find everything you need from supplies, to bars, restaurants, boat rentals, public parks, and even a casino. The town of Big Fork is only 45 minutes away and is a must-see. This town has an old-west feel with great shops, restaurants, a live theater, and an old iron bridge over the river. Glacier National Park is an hour and twenty minutes away. The driveway up to the orchard is made of gravel and is a bit steep at the beginning, At times there can be a few ruts so be cautious. Most standard passenger cars can make it up the driveway with no problem. Due to campers having trouble navigating the driveway with trailers we no longer allow trailers or RV's over 22 feet. Lowered vehicles are not recommended.

The Second Living Unit is a well kept 2018, Jayco travel trailer with slide-out that sleeps 4 comfortably (up to 6), and has full utilities (water/power/sewer) and includes A/C, 3 burner range, microwave, bathroom with standup shower (5 gallon RV water heater), outdoor shower, private master with RV Queen mattress. The rear living setup allows for a large living/dining/kitchen area. The futon folds down into a full bed, and the dinette drops into a double futon 4” pad for extra campers or sleeping separately. This private parcel shares a forest service boundary on one side, and is adjacent the road on the other, but the cabin and RV are set as close to the FS boundary as possible and there is a large, 1 acre clearing with plenty of additional parking areas. Enjoy the forest service access and nearby Jim Creek with public access just across the bridge. Check out the pair of nesting Common Loons at Peck Lake. Get out of the tent and enjoy a cozy night inside. Outdoor string lighting and an adjacent forest service campfire ring makes your evenings something to remember. This is beautiful place. It is very peaceful and quite. The facilities are great. I really loved the solar shower! Every evening and morning you can see deer grazing and browsing . It also dark at night for those that like to star gaze! I would certainly camp here again.

We loved the tiny home on the Orion Farmstead. Off the beaten path with all the amenities. The sauna, wood-fired hot tub, and cold plunge were a great plus! Can’t wait to stay here again.

Campground was easy to find and the host gave us a welcome package with directions and everything u need to know about the campsite which was extremely helpful. Unfortunately the bathrooms were not working when we were there due to a blown line but the host was amazing and called us twice as soon as it happened and also gave us updates we would definetly stay again!

Highly recommend this cabin!! The hosts were incredibly friendly and always available. The cabin checked all our boxes, spotlessly clean and felt homey. The location was peaceful and beautiful, set in the countryside yet conveniently close to must-see attractions and nearby cities. A solid 10/10!!
