A literal 30 acre pocket of paradise tucked away just minutes North of Columbia, MO. Here you’ll find a private lake with fishing access, rolling hills with stunning sunrises and sunsets, plenty of space to reset with nature, perfect for a glamping getaway. You can park in the driveway, then hike around and set up a secluded tent campsite anywhere on our 50 acres of wooded land. The site listing numbers you see on this map are simply for general reference, you can camp anywhere you please. Also, the only vehicle access is the driveway and large open field you see on the map here. Folks with roof top tents or campers or RV's can set up camp anywhere in this field, along the edge of the woods. The remaining acreage is heavily wooded and hilly with creeks running through. At this time, vehicles cannot penetrate the woods. Pinnacle Park is a simple walk down the road/hill from our land. You can have fun hiking, splashing in the creek, playing in the sand and rock climbing at the Pinnacle's. Pinnacle Park also has nice shelters for picnics with fireplaces and restrooms. Wonderful Hipcamp with owners who care. We had one of three full hook up sites (as good as you’ll find anywhere) with a view across a paddock with horses and donkeys in a gorgeous setting. After a long drive, with Truck and Trailer, great to pull through into a super easy spot to both arrive, set up, and depart. We were there to visit Hannibal (Mark Twain etc) but clearly lots of great outdoor adventures to be had near by on lakes and reservoirs. Full marks and thank you!

I scored a mid-week “Reflection Ridge” campsite reservation and had a night to remember. From Katie’s escort to the spot, pointing out the fresh baby geese swimming in the lake, to my secluded, pristine campsite with a gorgeous view of the water. I can’t recommend this property enough for a tranquil, awe-inspiring stay. Thank you PeaceTree! I cannot wait to return soon!

We absolutely loved this place. Completely private, beautiful views. The new gazebo with the picnic table and grill is a fantastic addition. Loved being in the middle of nature and just getting away from the every day hustle. The house was great. Has everything you could need. We will definitely be return visitors. Lots of wildlife to be seen and the beautiful pond just a stones throw away from the house is beautiful to look at while sitting outside. Really can’t say enough great things about the place. The owners were very attentive to anything we had questions about. 10 out of 10! You won’t be disappointed.

Peacetree Farms was full of spectacular views. We took the canoe around the lake for a few hours, walked the maintained trails on property, and enjoyed listening to the song birds all weekend.
Katie was wonderful, helped me get to the site after a late arrival, provided firewood, picnic benches and flat land to set up on.
Fantastic trip will be back again to see how everything flushes out in summer!

Many of the reviews detail the available activities, all of which are worth taking advantage of, but what I find most compelling is when a host makes sure basic needs are met. Many of the tent sites you find on Hipcamp are open fields, peppered with picnic tables and fire rings, but PeaceTree's sites are carefully chosen and tailored to a camper's needs.
The property is very hilly as one would expect being nestled between the Northern Prairies and the Ozark Foothills, but each site is level, well protected with trees, and a short walk from the nearest porta-potty. A chilly night with an intense hail storm meant a warm campfire was a necessity. While there was plenty of dead wood lying on the ground, a full load of cut firewood was delivered to us shortly after we arrived.
Most of the places you find on Hipcamp provide a place to rest and have a few unique quirks, but there are very few rare exceptions like PeaceTree Farms that is such a magical place that hosts like Katie and her family can't help but share it with a community that has a voracious appetite for breathtaking views, thrilling activities, and one-of-a-kind nature experiences. We were just passing through Northeast Missouri on the last night of a roadtrip, looking for nothing more than a level pad and a fire ring, and were fortunate to have stumbled upon PeaceTree Farms. We arrived with few expectations and left our only regret being that we could not spend at least a week to take in the full experience.

Lovely family, a truly staggering number of chickens and all the horses are extremely, extremely polite and friendly. Loved that when we parked, there was a lovely horse immediately in view of our front window and the zoom class I had was made that much better with the singing of roosters! The farm-fresh eggs are well worth it, you get a mixed set of all colors: don't miss!
Worth noting that the site can be muddy if it's rainy - it's right next to the barn and is typical of a barnyard - but we didn't find that to be a problem. It's nice and level and we had no difficulty getting in or out.
