A literal 30 acre pocket of paradise tucked away just minutes North of Columbia, MO. Here you’ll find a private lake with fishing access, rolling hills with stunning sunrises and sunsets, plenty of space to reset with nature, perfect for a glamping getaway. We have 3 separate sites on the property. Our 24’ yurt that sleeps up to 6 with indoor toilet (no shower) propane fireplace for chilly fall and winter stays and AC for the Missouri heat; a cozy RV that sleeps 4 (queen bed and bunks in the back) offers all the amenities of home with a kitchen and bathroom (with hot water and shower); and last we have a level gravel site with 30amp electric and water hook ups (no dump capability) with picnic table, fire pit and grill available for those that want to bring their own RV. You can park in the driveway, then hike around and set up a secluded tent campsite anywhere on our 50 acres of wooded land. The site listing numbers you see on this map are simply for general reference, you can camp anywhere you please. Also, the only vehicle access is the driveway and large open field you see on the map here. Folks with roof top tents or campers or RV's can set up camp anywhere in this field, along the edge of the woods. The remaining acreage is heavily wooded and hilly with creeks running through. At this time, vehicles cannot penetrate the woods. Pinnacle Park is a simple walk down the road/hill from our land. You can have fun hiking, splashing in the creek, playing in the sand and rock climbing at the Pinnacle's. Pinnacle Park also has nice shelters for picnics with fireplaces and restrooms. We offer a water hydrant on our land, but no electric or bathrooms.

I loved this spot. It was private and so quiet, just frogs and crickets and later that night, coyotes singing! Josh was very communicative and helpful. My dog loved it, and it was easy enough to keep him out of the pond. I chose a nice level spot and slept well.

My family of four stayed the night passing through. Wish we could have stayed longer. Very charming ranch and we got to hang out and meet the horses, donkeys, chase some chickens. Even gave some treats out😁. Hosts were super friendly and shared their love and knowledge of animals. Would stay here again for sure. Remember it's the second right after the church. 😂

It was a perfect place for us to overnight in our Revel while traveling through the area. There is a nice pond and woodsy area with plenty of privacy. We weren’t able to check out the pond due to cold temps. 🥶 We’d definitely stay here again!

This stay was incredible! Tamitha and her husband were amazing and accommodating hosts. Their property was beautiful and the animals clearly well loved. Tamitha went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and that my daughter had a wonderful experience (she was a big fan of the donkeys, especially Ernie). They also had a wonderful lake about a quarter mile away from them that was perfect for swimming my dogs. We will be back and wish we had more that a quick nights stop!

The serene views were awesome. Always seemed to have a nice breeze too. We did not fish but the pond looks like a prime bass pond. We enjoyed walking along the bluffs on the Perche Creek. Plent of Indian artifacts are found near this creek. Soo cool, undisturbed!!!!!!

After a very long drive this was exactly what my family needed. Anything you can think of was provided. Warm water, a bathroom, potable water, microwave, kerig, TV and air conditioning. We were greeted by the owners and they even offered us eggs. We only stayed one night, wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Long Branch State Park

Hannibal
Approximately an hour east of Macon, Hannibal is a great little town to explore—focusing on all things Mark Twain. One of Missouri’s most famous native sons, Mark Twain used his life experiences as a boy in this riverfront town on the Mississippi as the inspiration for his works, and you can tour sites related to his life. A number of private RV parks offer full hookups and free wifi, and public campgrounds can be found at nearby lakes.
Columbia
Mid-Missouri’s largest city, Columbia, is an energetic college town. The hip downtown is bursting with shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries, and there’s even nature to explore nearby, at Rockbridge Memorial State Park and the Katy Trail rail-to-trail hiking and biking route. In addition to private RV parks found in the region, public camping is found at Finger Lakes State Park and in Mark Twain National Forest.
