We turned one of our barns into a place to have music and line dancing, however over time it turned into a perfect place for weddings and gathering events. In 2019, my husband and I acquired and renovated some of the original Miramichee stone cabins. We are located on the Southfork River, in Hardy, Arkansas. We have 1 cabin on the river and 3 cabins a short walk from the river, up a wooded hillside, for rent here at Camp Miramichee Falls. There are a few other privately owned cabins in the neighborhood and we live on the property. In 2026, we acquired additional river waterfront for the use of all of our guests. All the comforts of a hotel with all the beauty of camping! No need to pack a sleeping bag, the beds have pillows and blankets already. Fridge, freezer, microwave, and cheap ice made meals very easy. The porch has two chairs and a small table. There is a cigarette container for those who need it. The picnic table was in great shape and the firepit kept our coals warm enough that I only had to light our fire the first night and it stayed hot enough to cook our meals for the next day. The bathroom had hot running water, a shower, and a flush toilet. That was super handy for our kids in the middle of the night. AC and heat kept us comfortable at night, while the TV and DVD player were a nice break when rain came through. We enjoyed the playground and the walking trail.
Definetly consider this cabin for your next glamping trip! (Cabin 1 & 2 are two halves of the same building. Cabin 2 was empty during our trip. It would have been a bit too cozy if we had neighbors that close. For more privacy, choose Cabin 3, 4, the Squirrel Nest, or the Tackle Box.)

a magical spot in the woods with a great tent and very comfortable bed. if you want to feel comfortable, but still be camping this is the place. the cooking fire pit is very well crafted and makes cooking over the fire easy. it has well made solar lighted walking paths to both a very nice bathroom with flushing toilet and a pond that provides great frog song that blends with so many birds singing we never turned on our music once! nearby enjoy hiking and views at grand gulf state park and swimming at many local swimming holes along the Spring River. a great choice for your next camping vacation. choose this spot and begin to relax :)

Glamping at in the Dogwood Den tent at Sinking Creek was amazing!! Inside we were greeted with a simple luxury and softness. But once we stepped outside, it was truly camping at its finest. It was a perfect, secluded, beautiful campsite. Located on gorgeous property surrounded by forest and pastures. Every little detail made it feel so special. Highly recommend Sinking Creek Ranch! And Dogwood Den was just perfect.

We just spent a fantastic weekend at Sinking Creek Ranch, and it was the perfect family getaway. We stayed in the Maple Haven yurt, and it was impressively spacious for the four of us.
One of the best parts was the "glamping" convenience—walking into a tent with the beds already made and ready to go was such a luxury. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the portable AC/heat unit did a great job keeping us cozy during the chilly nights and cool during the warmer days. Having a fridge, microwave, and Keurig right inside made the mornings so much easier with kids.
The vibe here is pure quiet seclusion. Our two young boys had a blast playing in the creek (which was about ankle-deep near the bathhouse and knee-deep a bit further down), which gave my wife and me some much-appreciated quality time together.
The hosts truly went above and beyond. They were extremely helpful, even lending me a tool I’d forgotten at home so I could remove my car's luggage carrier. Their local recommendations were spot on—they pointed us toward a great fishing hole and a perfect swimming spot just 10 minutes down the road.
The absolute highlight: The first night under the stars. The sky is incredibly dark out there, and seeing that many stars reminded me of growing up in the country. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped escape, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

What a perfect getaway! From the calming sounds of the creek just across the yurt to the breathtaking sight of stars and horses, it’s clear this land is deeply cared for and truly loved. The location offers everything you could need, whether you’re visiting in the off season or peak season, and the owners strike the perfect balance of being helpful while still giving you space to relax. The yurt, cooking amenities, and outdoor areas were spotless and thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We loved the tent! Very clean bedding and interior as well as very clean bathrooms. Bathroom and showers were a very short walk from the tents, and we had the furthest one away. It got down to ~35 F at night at mid 60s during the day and we had no problems staying warm. There are a handful of public hiking trails ~45 mins from the site, but not much else in the surrounding area. They do have trails on their property, but we didn't get a chance to try them. One thing I'd have liked to know, there is about ~12 miles of gravel roads leading to the site which tends to slow leaving and coming back, and could potentially send rocks up to your vehicle. Overall, we would highly recommend visiting, we had a great time!

We stayed in Wandering Willow and had an awesome time. We were able to park right up next to the tent, which made unloading and setting up super easy. We even set up an awning and cooked off our tailgate setup, and it felt like the perfect mix of glamping comfort and real camping vibes.
The common bathhouse deserves a special shoutout—sparkly clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with extra little amenities (things like water bottles and coffee creamers) that make a big difference.
Overall, this was a fantastic camping experience and we’d absolutely come back.
Only minor note: the tents are fairly close together (around ~200 feet apart), and with less tree cover in this season, it wasn’t as private as it might be at other times of year. That said, it didn’t take away from how great the stay was.

We stayed in the glamping tent, it was our first time ever staying in something like this. We typically either tent camp or stay in a cabin. It was a great location on the scenic byway. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do for a short weekend. The site was clean and the bed was super comfy. The night got cool so we were thankful for the heated bed. Thanks for a great stay!!

We loved every second of being at this tiny home! Melissa and Rick’s farm is so beautiful, right next to the house are horses with a very friendly horse Bubba who will come and greet you. On this property there are an assortment of animals: cows, chickens, cats, the CUTEST dogs, and friendly goats. Rick is so friendly and took my boyfriend and I on a tour and it was our favorite part of this trip, we didn’t want to leave!! Inside the Home there is a microwave, tv with dvd player, plates and cutlery, an electric skillet, clawfoot tub and a shower. There is no kitchen sink so we just used bathroom sink to do dishes, wasn’t too much of an issue. Outside is a bench perfectly located so you can enjoy the sunset, which you’re going to because they are truly magical. You can make a campfire and there is also a grill available. Was a great time and we are already talking about coming back, Melissa and Rick are amazing!!

Weekend Trip to Delightful 1 bedroom peaceful tiny house
I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this place. It met every expectation and added more. The land is beautiful, with slightly rolling hills, but in those hills are about 30 different horses with a whole cascade of personalities, and about 20 cows and calves(watching the calves play is so cute, I was giggling like a maniac all weekend). Rick (Melissa’s husband) is such a great host, he has a story for every animal on his property, and you can tell that he loves being out there. Besides the cattle’s and horses, there’s a wide array of birds such as guinea fowl and peacocks, goats and chickens, some beautiful country pigeons, and even a domesticated raccoon named Captain(who has more personality than the rest of the animals combined). The retired hunting dogs that live on the property are SO excited to see a new face and to get pet, along with a few of the smallest, cutest dogs I’ve ever seen in my life. The house itself is also a treat! They provided a mini fridge, microwave, and a decent sized electric skillet for cooking, along with a coffee pot and Keurig(with coffee supplied!). There’s also a small tv with a dvd player attached, and a wide assortment of movies. The bathroom was wicked cool, my girlfriend really loved ending our second day with a good soak in the clawfoot tub, but there’s also a shower in case you get dirty from petting horses out in the field with Rick. All in all, this place was something incredible, we will 110% be back to stay in here again!!
