Robert's Redneck Retreat is located on about 16 acres of pasture and 58 acres of forested land with a creek and trails running through it. Our property also adjoins 1200 acres of the Mark Twain National Forest, dotted with springs, trails, rivers, lakes, ponds and breathtaking views. We would love for Hip Campers to come experience our brand of cabin camping, with farm and forest experiences.A little history of the surrounding area: The Mark Twain National Forest was stripped by loggers in the 1800's and was purchased by the government as a preserve. Since then, it has regrown into hardwood forest, dotted with remnants of pine. It feels wild and untouched, despite knowing it's history. And within it, it harbors all manner of waterways, wildlife, plants, and fungi beyond your imagination. We love southern Missouri and hope you come catch a taste of the wildness that is the Forest. In 2019, my husband and I acquired and renovated some of the original Miramichee stone cabins. We are located on the Southfork River, in Hardy, Arkansas. We have 1 cabin on the river and 3 cabins a short walk from the river, up a wooded hillside, for rent here at Camp Miramichee Falls. All the comforts of a hotel with all the beauty of camping! No need to pack a sleeping bag, the beds have pillows and blankets already. Fridge, freezer, microwave, and cheap ice made meals very easy. The porch has two chairs and a small table. There is a cigarette container for those who need it. The picnic table was in great shape and the firepit kept our coals warm enough that I only had to light our fire the first night and it stayed hot enough to cook our meals for the next day. The bathroom had hot running water, a shower, and a flush toilet. That was super handy for our kids in the middle of the night. AC and heat kept us comfortable at night, while the TV and DVD player were a nice break when rain came through. We enjoyed the playground and the walking trail.
Definetly consider this cabin for your next glamping trip! (Cabin 1 & 2 are two halves of the same building. Cabin 2 was empty during our trip. It would have been a bit too cozy if we had neighbors that close. For more privacy, choose Cabin 3, 4, the Squirrel Nest, or the Tackle Box.)

a magical spot in the woods with a great tent and very comfortable bed. if you want to feel comfortable, but still be camping this is the place. the cooking fire pit is very well crafted and makes cooking over the fire easy. it has well made solar lighted walking paths to both a very nice bathroom with flushing toilet and a pond that provides great frog song that blends with so many birds singing we never turned on our music once! nearby enjoy hiking and views at grand gulf state park and swimming at many local swimming holes along the Spring River. a great choice for your next camping vacation. choose this spot and begin to relax :)

We stayed in the glamping tent, it was our first time ever staying in something like this. We typically either tent camp or stay in a cabin. It was a great location on the scenic byway. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do for a short weekend. The site was clean and the bed was super comfy. The night got cool so we were thankful for the heated bed. Thanks for a great stay!!

Wonderful camp with lots of space and amenities. Beyond friendly and helpful staff, who provided free coffee and advice on area activities. We stayed in the glamping tent, which was an excellent value and very cute and comfortable. All we had to bring was our clothing. Super close to town, but tucked into the woods and very secluded looking. Loved the porch and corn hole area, as well!

This safari-style glamping tent was awesome! I went with my three kids on a spontaneous trip in early July (we brought an extra cot), and it turned out to be the perfect little getaway. To my surprise, the tent even had A/C, which made a huge difference in the summer heat.
The tent is located right at the front of the campground—not deep in the woods—but it’s nestled against a tree line, so it still feels peaceful and close to nature. It struck a great balance between comfort and that true camping vibe.
We didn’t pick the spot for the location, but it ended up being ideal. It’s just 20 minutes from Rocky Falls, an incredible waterfall and swimming hole, and there’s a great little burger shack just four minutes down the road.
We cooked all our meals right over the fire using our Dutch oven, and it worked perfectly with the provided fire rack—super easy and satisfying.
All in all, it was the perfect two-night escape.

We had a wonderful stay in the glamping tent—it was the perfect mix of comfort and nature. The ambiance was peaceful and cozy, and everything was incredibly clean, from the tent itself to the bathrooms, which were some of the cleanest we’ve seen at a campground. The heated bed was a great touch, especially on the cooler nights.
The owners were very nice and super accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The campground was quiet, which made it easy to relax, and we loved meeting the friendly campground cat who wandered by to say hello.
We had no issues with cell phone service, which was a plus, and the location was close to downtown Eminence, so it was easy to pop into town for food or supplies. We’d definitely come back again!

Highly recommend!!! It was such a relaxing time. The views are absolutely beautiful, expesicially around sunset! The cabin was nice and clean! Easy to find! Amazing and down to earth hosts!!! Getting to be surround by nature and farm animals was just so peaceful. I enjoyed not having cell service and truly getting to take a step back and just enjoy life and time with my soulmate! Absolutely recommend and will be returning!
