All You Need is a 111 acre paradise that is home to some VERY unique and endangered habitat. Our northern boundary is a tract of DeSoto National Forest, where we have practically exclusive access to another 90 acres of longleaf pine savannah and more bottomland creeks.
The sandhills are a "desert in the rain," home to prickly pear cactus and yuccas, abundant lichens (deer "moss"), the endangered black pine snake, and our mascot, the also endangered Gopher Tortoise.
We're a nature education and retreat center where we share permaculture practices, homesteading/sustainable living skills, conservation practices, and approaches to connecting more deeply to the land. Check out our sister non-profit, the Burrow Nature Center.
You will have access to our many walking paths and our swimming pond, as well as a 15 minute walk to part of DeSoto National Forest, which butts up to our property line.
We would love to have you as our guest on the land, and are especially eager to meet travelers who deeply love nature and want to live in better relationship to it!
Check in is between 2pm - 8pm, Check out is 11am. There's a fee for late check-in to our site.

95 acres on the beautiful Topisaw Creek. Here we've raised 5 kids and a multitude of dogs, cats and chickens and a small herd of pineywoods cattle. The woods are quiet and undisturbed , harboring native species like jack in the pulpit, trillium and Florida anise. The spring-fed (and thus always refreshing!) Topisaw Creek forms the eastern border of our property, so plan to spend time on the sandy beaches and rock bars soaking up the sun or hunting for rocks and fossils (petrified wood and arrowheads have been found here). Many folks also enjoy a leisurely float down the creek in inner tubes ('tubing') or in a kayak. (Please note that after heavy rains the creek rises to epic heights and is too dangerous to navigate.) Little to no light pollution makes for amazing stargazing!

We offer shady campsites and fishing in two private lakes stocked with bass and bluegill. Lakes are for campers only! Campers can pick blueberries when they are in season (June-July)--limit 2 pints per site per day. Wildlife is abundant. You will hear owls and coyotes at night. Often bald eagles can be spotted at both lakes. Other wildlife you may see: deer, wild turkey, raccoons, opossums, fox, bobcat, coyote, rabbits, armadillo, otter, and squirrels. A Rustic road courses along with the creek and several offshoots for mountain biking or hiking. The waterfall and pool are a 1/2 mile hike into the property on the primitive road. Gravel is only provided at the entrance area, encircling the metal shed. Any driving off the gravel runs a risk of getting stuck in the slippery clay/mud. Rainwater barrels and 110 electricity are available at the metal shed. See dozens of tree species old and young along the creek and wildlife including turkeys, deer, bobcat, raccoons, possums, hawks, rabbits etc.

I went tent camping on Vincent’s land. The hike through the stream to the waterfall was beautiful. There’s plenty of space to setup, power available and an outdoor covered pavilion behind the metal building. The noise from the road and railroad is noticeable, but the convenience of the site balances that out. You can take a short, easy hike into to the woods to get away from it all.

This is a great little glamping spot! Exactly what we were looking for! Like the property name says… it has all you need. That said, if you like creature comforts, bring your own.
Perfect spot for a couple’s getaway in the woods for a night or two. The site is close to other camp sites but feels private and secluded. We hope to be back soon!

I stayed at site #3 and had a wonderful time! Big spot, plenty of room to pull my truck in and quickly unload my stuff. Great shade where my stand up hammock fit nicely. Plenty of room to tie my dogs out. Easy access to the creek, right down a path (definitely recommend water shoes for the water). Really wished I brought a treat for the sweet donkey!!

Highly recommend Creekside Farm. The owners/hosts are invested in your experience and are available to help if needed. The property is beautiful and well cared for. This was our second stay at Bayou Peninsula. It's a great piece of property, and Debbie is the consummate hostess. Check in and set up were a breeze. We enjoyed relaxing at the beach in Waveland, stargazing around the firepit at night, and watching the sunet on the bayou. Thanks again Debbie!

We love bayou peninsula! This is our second time to stay here and it was even better than the first time. Deborah is a lovely host and her property is beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable. The views are gorgeous and the sun sets are stunning. It's very close to Bay St Louis Beach and Waveland Beach. Very close to anything you need yet still quiet and relaxing.
