Very serene and rustic sites. A great place to go and unplug! Nice area for walks in the woods and not seeing others. The camp host is very helpful when needed.

It was a very private rustic campsite. Carl's a very good host and will help out with whatever you need. The campground is right next to the Rum River State Forest with lots of hiking and trails to explore. The night skies are fantastic! I was able to have my dogs off leash, they loved exploring and taking a little dip in the river!

Weekend Trip to Lake Placid Family Reunion Camp

We lived camping on Randy’s land. It was so spacious and made the 4 campers plus the tents have plenty of space and kids loved fishing off the docks all day long. Tons of grass areas for the dogs to run and play.

Randy’s land was the perfect spot for our group of 8 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs! All 3 campers had full hook ups which was amazing! We put in our boat and were able to keep it in the water all weekend at the dock. We also enjoyed paddle boarding and fishing off the dock. Randy was incredibly kind and accommodating. 10/10 experience and we hope to stay here again someday

Cozy spot, beautiful area. Was just passing through MN and it was a great place to spend a quiet evening. Definitely recommend. A couple notes, I didn't have cell service out there so make sure to record the directions and instructions before you arrive. Also, wish I would have taken them up on a couple of those firewood bundles to quiet the mosquitoes.

Beautiful property with trees, open spaces and a gushing river this time of year. The property is really well looked after with clearly marked campsites and fire pits. We lost cell service in town so make sure you review the directions beforehand or it may take a little longer to find your way. Carl was a good communicator and kept us well informed prior to our arrival and even came over with a bottle of plum wine (harvested from his property) to share. We would definitely stay here again. Excellent spot!

Weekend Trip to Pearsons Century Farm

What a great place to unplug from electronics. The animals were so cute and peaceful. Travis was very accommodating and answered any questions we had. Many acres to roam, weather was amazing as was our site that we had. Many to choose from. Goats were so funny and donkeys were cute and sweet, we wanted to take one home. My one pup thought she was a baby goat I think, she fit right in their pen and hung out several times. Brought home some farm fresh eggs and hamburger for a very inexpensive price. Thank you Travis! We enjoyed our relaxing weekend on your farm. Tammy, Makenna, Tootsie, and Duke
