You can also find wild strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries during the spring/summer months. We are dog friendly, but all pets must be on a leash at all times, to respect other campers. With the maps provided, feel free to walk our cut trails that wind throughout the property. Enjoy the serenity of our rippling creek, and watch for wildlife such as grouse, deer, bear, bobcat, elk, and more! We do raise pheasants for release, so don't be shocked if you spook one up on the trail! You can also hit the public trails next door on State Land and walk for miles and miles. We are only 4.4 miles to and from I75, with easy access to Gaylord, Petoskey, Mackinac, and just down the road from downtown Wolverine and Indian River. Jeannie & I loved Phil & Stormy's Place. It was quiet this time of year, and we were lucky to be the only folks at their Camp. They definitely had made it their own, and have great amenities. Firewood & Firepit, 30 amp service, a water hose , picnic table & dry kindling.. 2 Porta Potties on site, and a RV cleanout. Great Wooden games around the site for folks enjoyment. Phil is a world renown Game maker who makes Games and interesting items, which he makes in his shop on site. Sends it all around the world. Besides meeting Phil and Chit chatting, because we are both Hip Camp Hosts, Phil gave us a tour of his Shop and woodworking area. Pretty impressive. He was a great host, and is Passionate about Kubb, a Yard game that was originally played overseas, but because of Phi, brought the game to the US. He actually has his own playing field. We plan on visiting again, as we loved the vibe

It was a cute little spot. Sites 1-3 are right together and would be perfect for a group! You’d be right together and the kids could play all around you. They had campfire wood at the spots and starting materials next to square picnic tables with umbrellas in them. The shower is an outdoor one and they had a porta potty for a bathroom but it was very clean. I would go there again. Our motorhome fit very nicely there.

This place was absolutely beautiful. Extremely quiet, very nicely groomed smooth trails. Endless stars. No bugs at all. Spent a few days kayaking, riding my quads a bit (slowly to not hurt anything) and just enjoying nature. Host was nice and responded quickly with any of my questions. I recommend showing up in the day as it is very hard to find at night. (We went in the wrong field the first time because it was pitch black) 😂 definitely recommend this spot for a getaway.

Staying at Linda's was like hanging out with a long-lost friend. She is such a kind, caring and fun soul. Her property is beautiful -- the view of the creek from the top of the hill is amazing. The three camping spots are on the other side of the outbuildings, so there is privacy and plenty of space. There is a nice walking path which winds down the hill and by the creek. I would definitely recommend Linda's place! Cell service: Verizon was usually at two bars.
