This campground is a hidden gem tucked deep in the woods. The sites branch off a long grassy lane, each one big, level, and well-spaced so you don’t feel crowded. Sites 3 and 4 are especially private if you’re looking for extra seclusion. You can hear a little road noise from the nearby road, but there’s no light pollution, so the nights are brilliantly starry. It’s a rustic campsite with everything you need—firepits with wood provided and outhouses available. Easy to find, well cared for, and the perfect base for exploring Newberry, Seney, and Grand Marais. I’d definitely stay here again.

Loved Andys Wolf Traxx! Easy to find and host answered us and offered help with anything we needed. Not too many trails for walking or anything but good quiet place to sleep with toilet. Beautiful stars!

Site 4 is a great little private site. No hassle getting in and out. Ordered wood to be there when we arrived, and it was! Perfect area to trout fish, head up to Grand Marais, or over to Pictured Rocks.

Andrew’s hip camp was clean with water available, trash cans and Andrew was super nice he came around checked on us made sure we had everything we needed. It was quiet and a great place to stop before visiting pictures of rock national Lakeshore. We highly recommend Andy’s spot.

This was a very nice semi-secluded camp! The first two sites are close to each other, but spaced enough for privacy. Sites 3 & 4 have a lot more privacy. Andy was great to talk to and very nice. I would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you for providing us with a great camping experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at Site #1! Cindy & Andy were great at responses and checking in on us. It was a nice spot with neighboring spots nearby. Porta potty was clean & fresh drinking water directly on Site #1 was extremely helpful. We also rented the generator for our air mattress which helped a lot.

We tent camped 4 nights in site #1 in July. Nicely maintained camp site, the port-a-John’s were clean, with a fresh trash can. Not a totally secluded site, but still private. Nice and close to Grand Maria’s, cute little town with a spectacular beach. Andrew was a responsive host, answered all my questions.

The grounds were nice, the porta potties were honestly some of the cleanest I've ever seen, the presence of a shower was not an expectation but it was definitely a plus, water hose was nice, the fire pit was the perfect size, picnic table was in good condition, everyone we saw at camp was nice. Great experience overall!

We had a phenomenal time camping at Andy’s! Site 3 had a few tree stumps that would limit a low clearance vehicle being able to fully maneuver but it’s still very accessible! Just something to note when pulling in. It is bigger than it looks and offers plenty of space for tents or a small trailer. The grounds are well kept with porta potties and a solar shower. He supplies a picnic table, grate to cook over, and bucket to dump water on campfires. He and his wife greeted us shortly after we arrived to answer any questions and provide any recommendations. Sites 1 & 2 could hear each other but are separated with plenty of brush for privacy. Site 3 is tucked back on its own and site 4 is on the main drive past sites 1 & 2. Sound can carry but we weren’t bothered by any. The mosquitos were in full force and it’d be good to prepared when first setting up but once we had a fire going and bug prevention it wasn’t terrible. We’d definitely come back and stay here again!
