Several hiking trails and locations to camp. There are multiple fire rings out back and plenty of fallen wood to burn or you can purchase seasoned split wood bundles on site. Suggested Local Attractions: The property borders a public golf course, downtown Lake Orion or Oxford are less than 1.5 miles as is public access to All-Sports Lake Orion(the lake) as well as others in the area. Dozens of miles of hiking/mountain biking trails. Bald Mountain State Park and Addison Oaks trailheads 2 and 3 miles respectively. Disc Golf courses. Public beaches, paved trails, etc. Or you can just hang out and watch the various wildlife that frequent the property. Amazing property! My dog and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet, peaceful, clean - and beautiful to hike / walk your dog.
Saw deer, turkeys and I think even a groundhog, and my dog loved to sniff out all the trails.
We also had real privacy - After arriving & texting the host, he came to bring us some firewood, afterwards I didn‘t come across anyone during the whole weekend. While the 3 sites are connected by trails you can put up a „privacy please“ sign close to your site so that the other guests don‘t walk into your area.

This campsite was perfect. Spacious, level, extremely private, and plenty of room to set up however you want.
The host was friendly and easygoing and everything was easy to find and clearly labeled.
The best part was the solitude. It felt peaceful and safe. I could hear distant traffic or a lawn mower only occasionally, and it was so faint that it never took me out of the experience or disturbed my peace.
The site had a picnic table, fire ring, pit toilet, and covered firewood stand with plenty of wood. The trails deserve a mention too. Some sites have a concept of a trail—these trails were wide, clear, easy to follow, and rivaled any parks.
Already looking forward to a return visit.

This was a decent stay. The directions were very clear, and the drive was marked. There was a large community fire pit, and fire rings for your own fire, but with a field packed solid with plants and weeds, it's hard to feel right about starting a pit in your own spot. There's plenty of space, but everything that isn't close to the house/barn is a bit overgrown and hard to find a good level spot. I must say, though, what a gorgeous view of the night sky. My tent has a screen roof, and I was loving the view of the stars all night. I did stay in my tent the majority of the time to avoid the bugs, and it was hard to find anywhere with a bit of shade. Overall not the worst, but more of just a place to sleep than a well maintained site.

Absolutely loved this spot for camping, the spot is farther away from other people, you don't have neighbors bothering you, but if you need anything the owner is very friendly and more than willing to come help. Gorgeous view of the sky, larger space for some games or just enjoying company. Will DEFINITELY be coming back here!!
