This home was built by my grandparents back in the 40’s he was a military man she was a homemaker! We lived around the kitchen with smoked fish and freshly baked oatmeal raisin cookies! At one time my uncles horse lived here and many of my grandfathers chicken! This home and land has lots of love surrounding it! There are many blueberry farms and amazing fishing spots! I can hand out brochures when you arrive. I also have a relationship with a local fishing charter if you would like to do a fish and fry!Learn more about this land:Woods and moss with a pond. The Magic Forest is located right across the street from the 4400 acre Rifle River State Recreation area. You can access the park across the street through the canoe port right on the Rifle River, with easy access to fishing, canoeing/kayaking, and trails. Kayak and canoe rental companies are nearby, as well as many lakes in the area with excellent fishing.

You can expect to hear the bird song throughout the day, and many other woodland critters as we are surrounded by state land, and are located on a federally protected watershed. Staying at Linda's was like hanging out with a long-lost friend. She is such a kind, caring and fun soul. Her property is beautiful -- the view of the creek from the top of the hill is amazing. The three camping spots are on the other side of the outbuildings, so there is privacy and plenty of space. There is a nice walking path which winds down the hill and by the creek. I would definitely recommend Linda's place!
Cell service: Verizon was usually at two bars.

Nice property! Great location for canoeing 🛶 the Rifle or Au Sable rivers. Everything was as expected and we enjoyed the pines and the stars at night. David, our host, was very accommodating, quick with responses to questions, and a joy to meet! Nice guy! ☺️✌🏼

We had a good time here. It's a nice lot in a nice location. Was very peaceful there every night....and we were there for 14 days and nights. Beach is less than 5 minute walk...river right there for fishing. 👍👍. The host was fantastic. Very easy going and nearby for any questions. They were all friendly and let you be to yourself for the quiet time. Would recommend this place to anybody who don't mind a little rustic camping (some stuff nearby to help) makes it easy. It's suitable for a small pop up or tent no problem. Enjoy!
