Overall we really liked this campsite! The bathrooms were super clean and nice + had hot water. The campsite itself was maintained and nice—it included outlets, an RV hookup, a firepit, and a picnic table. The campsite was quite close to the other campsite and the two cabins, but it was further than a state park where you would be ontop of each other. It could use some more sinage.. it was quite difficult to find where we needed to go (we arrived at night), so just make sure to pull up to the place with the big red sign. The address misled led us to a nearby house. Great experience overall though!

We explored a lot of the property but I feel like there is a lot more to see when we find the time to get back there again. This is the kind of natural wonder that you could enjoy any time of year as long as you're prepared for the elements.

This was a very relaxing & peaceful trip. I loved the big yard for the dogs to run around and explore in. The area was quiet except for the cars driving to and from the lake. I especially loved the clean bathroom and that there was laundry there. Communication with Jason was excellent and he responded immediately. He was seriously the best host, he even gave us a recommendation on where to go fishing!! Thank you again! We definitely enjoyed our 2 week stay!!

I truly felt among the trees and it was such an unexpected luxury to be in nature while still waking up in a cozy bed, having ample space to get work done and everything I needed to cook a few yummy meals! Absolutely incredible stay! This was easily one of our favorite Hipcamp spots. The site was immaculate and so thoughtfully maintained. The tall grass and beautiful wildflowers between sites created a gorgeous natural sense of privacy while still feeling open and peaceful. The hookups were in perfect condition, and there was an awesome walking path that our dogs absolutely loved. The wide-open sky gave us perfect Starlink reception, which was a huge bonus for working remotely, and the stargazing at night was phenomenal. ✨🌌 Such a beautiful, peaceful, well-maintained property with everything we could have asked for. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and would 100% stay here again!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Marvin's. It was a pleasure to meet him and his wife, who were incredibly warm and hospitable. The RV is located in front of their house, yet we felt it offered a sense of privacy and tranquility. There was ample space both inside and outside. The place was very clean and equipped with all the essentials, including towels, kitchen supplies, wifi. It was well-stocked. They even provided us with coffee and creamer, ensuring we had everything we needed. While the bed was a little uncomfortable, we slept well and had plenty of space to stretch out. Overall, if you're seeking a getaway, I recommend booking this RV.

Linda and her daughter were very nice, and I enjoyed seeing their three dogs. Linda was also very accommodating. She just wants your stay there to be the best it can be!

Lots of wood to collect for your fire! Dont need to bring any. James showed me around the area and was very welcoming. I drive a Honda Fit and was able to drive to site no issue. This is a huge plus! I would note this area is very moist with creeks running throughout- this is a tick and mosquitoes warning if it wasn't already obvious. I sprayed my gear with 3% permethrin once I realized (tent and 2 outfits). I only saw about 3 the entire stay (3 nights) and checked myself constantly. I stayed on trail as much as possible and I had no issues! Just a heads up for any visitors. You do hear traffic across the way and a couple 4 wheelers in the field across during the day time. Dollar general 6 min away has everything you may need and some small cute shops in town. Walmart is 30 min away. I felt safe camping here as a solo female and cant wait to visit again.

Camp was great at the oak tree! We truly enjoyed our private camping! Highly recommend over a busy campground! Owner is very polite & will drive you to the site if needed! Fast responder! Good communication! Very polite! Pond was nice for fishing! & the beautiful oak provided the best shade for the heat wave! & the cafe and gas station only being about 3 minutes away is the best plus!
