This property is the perfect location to stop and relax while you are traveling on the White Pine Trail. We have cabins and campsites with water and electricity. It is centrally located between Grand Rapids and Cadillac. We offer river access, kayaking, bathrooms, showers, and a dump station. This is an old church camp with 14 different buildings. There is a trail that goes down to the river. My goal is to restore all of the buildings to what they once were. I encourage you to come and investigate before it's all done. Pull off the blacktop onto the grassy drive running through the field and forest. The sites are just off of the road, and minutes from lots of local culture and recreation. We do have two sites available, but we'll only take one booking at a time. So, you'll have the area to yourself and your choice of campsites. Groups that add up to at least 8 people to the booking can use both sites. The clearing is about an acre and is surrounded by forest. Our home is next door, but you have your own drive.

Grays River Camp was awesome. Angie was a super host and very pleasant to talk with. Attentive to needs and making sure campers are happy. She has done a lot with the campground for improvements, making sure there is a little bit for everyone to have fun outdoors or indoors in the case of bad weather. It was very quiet, clean and peaceful camped along the river. Plenty of room to walk dogs if you have them. We floated the Muskegon during our stay. Angie dropped us off at a riverside park in Big Rapids and we paddled and fished our way back to camp. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are camping there again the following weekend. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone looking to get away from the congested state campgrounds and larger RV resorts. Great for RV’s and Tents. There is a dump station for RV’s which was a blessing. Thanks Angie, we look forward to coming back.

We stayed for three nights and absolutely loved it here. The property is peaceful, right on the river, and has a unique charm with the old buildings from when it was a church camp built in 1940’s. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with before our trip, which made everything smooth. On-site, they’ve clearly put thought into making it comfortable—there are snacks (even ice cream if you want it), clean bathrooms and showers, a dump station, firewood for purchase, and convenient hookups with 30-amp power and a water spigot close by. The rail trail runs right past the property, which was perfect for walks, and there was plenty of room for our dogs to explore. What made this trip even better was that my parents, who aren’t campers, came along and stayed in one of the handful of cabins on site. It worked out perfectly and gave us all a chance to enjoy the peaceful setting together. What we appreciated most was how small and quiet it felt—not crowded at all, just relaxing and easy. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with modern conveniences and a touch of history. We wished we could have stayed longer!

A campsite with all the amenities for an extra comfortable stay. We enjoyed the bathhouse showers and restrooms and cute snack shop with ping pong, board games, and necessities just in case you forgot something. We also loved having wifi. The kids never got bored because there were so many activities such as a cool zip line, small playscape, basketball hoop, kayaking, and so much more. The icing on the cake was how nice and helpful Angie was. The property is the perfect place to enjoy camping.

Such a nice little piece of land. The bathrooms were immaculate and I even got a hot shower! It is about 300 ft from main road so we could hear some road noise, but it was also nice to be able to go grab ice, etc from a nearby gas station when needed. Great experience overall :)

Very nice camp. Angie and (I assume) husband were both friendly and helpful. The camp has great access to the White Pine Trail. It crosses their driveway.
