Queen bed upstairs & downstairs a fold down couch & camp mat for 4th person , with all Linens provided . Partly run by a generator, heat will be supplied by a space heater that we would like turned down to 66 at night (heating blankets provided if that is too cold). . Bathroom has a composting toilet. (Usually changed every 3rd guest). Ac is hooked to an extension cord . We provide a Battery pump shower where you have to fill the bag with water & foot pump sink like used at festivals. The shack isn’t perfectly air tight so you might encounter a few bugs however with Chickens around they are natural bug exterminators. Ceiling height it just at 6 ft meaning those taller than that need to Duck under beams. Please beware. *summer info : Lake can only be viewed from the upstairs of shack due to tall reeds or by way of walking path which is still under construction partially handmade from scrap lumber . It’s about 2/3 complete with newly built dock, sections (see pics). The path is usually partially underwater until mid May so please check if you plan to kayak you will use at your own risk. *:It’s too mucky to swim right off shore but you can Kayak out to the swimming area. Kayak use is allowed as long as waiver is signed. Closed toed/water shoes recommended . Potential for 4 guests which is tight, or more if part of your crew wanted to set up a tent. *Fall/winter info: Use of our guest bathroom is permitted during colder months -just ask!. I have six children and hosted three foreign exchange students. I love kids, animals (especially horses) and nature. I love anything and everything about health and personal growth and well being. ABOUT THE FARM We have a working, organic farm with a lot of animals, however, we also do crops as well. This particular farm is 138 acres with 8 acres of woods. We have working dogs, sheep, cattle, horses, a couple goatsWe have some super great animals. Most of which are very friendly. You never know what will be available to see on the farm when you visit. We are expecting a foal (baby horse) this summer (2021) and are already planning for another foal next summer as well. We often have puppies as well and sometimes we have to bottle feed lambs. There's never a dull moment. Our farm is unique in the way of having a very positive VIBE to it. The energy is awesome! It's really a space of tranquility and healing if you allow yourself to go there. After hosting with air bnb for a little over a year now, we decided to give this a try as well. We love hosting people and having them come to the farm and enjoy our way of life. It also helps to have a supplemental income as having and running a small family farm isn't very sustainable. Typically there's off the farm jobs to help pay for the farm life. It's a crazy equation. Small family farms are far and few between. Please support your local farmer if possible! Each day we feel blessed to live in an idyllic, peaceful spot and we would like to share the serenity we've found here. We are less than a mile off Old 27, close to 127 and 5 miles to I-69 DeWitt Exit. Drop by and stay for a night on your way to your final destination or relax and stay for a few days, Our first site is open for tent or RV. Our new heated barn has a flush-toilet, sink, shower, washer and dryer. Less than a mile down the road is our local tavern with good, affordable food and welcoming vibe. Our home sits in the middle of a large clover lawn surrounded by woods, a pond and low-land meadow with high grass and wildflowers. Walking trails are cut through the woods and meadow providing ability to see deer, rabbits, dragonflies, butterflies, birds, cranes, blue and green heron and native flowers. We sometimes see raccoons, eagle, hawk, wood peckers, coyote and fox. During the day you'll see our ducks and chickens free-ranging and our sheep may join them or be in their pasture. We have an active homestead farm and we are focused on building a thriving environment for pollinators. Autumn brings the honey harvest and in the spring maple syrup... you're always welcome around the fire.

ABOUT THE FARM We have a working, organic farm with a lot of animals, however, we also do crops as well. This particular farm is 138 acres with 8 acres of woods. We have working dogs, sheep, cattle, horses, a couple goatsWe have some super great animals. Most of which are very friendly. You never know what will be available to see on the farm when you visit. We are expecting a foal (baby horse) this summer (2021) and are already planning for another foal next summer as well. We often have puppies as well and sometimes we have to bottle feed lambs. There's never a dull moment. Our farm is unique in the way of having a very positive VIBE to it. The energy is awesome! It's really a space of tranquility and healing if you allow yourself to go there. After hosting with air bnb for a little over a year now, we decided to give this a try as well. We love hosting people and having them come to the farm and enjoy our way of life. It also helps to have a supplemental income as having and running a small family farm isn't very sustainable. Typically there's off the farm jobs to help pay for the farm life. It's a crazy equation. Small family farms are far and few between. Please support your local farmer if possible! We are less than a mile off Old 27, close to 127 and 5 miles to I-69 DeWitt Exit. Drop by and stay for a night on your way to your final destination or relax and stay for a few days, Our first site is open for tent or RV. Our new heated barn has a flush-toilet, sink, shower, washer and dryer. Less than a mile down the road is our local tavern with good, affordable food and welcoming vibe. Our home sits in the middle of a large clover lawn surrounded by woods, a pond and low-land meadow with high grass and wildflowers. Walking trails are cut through the woods and meadow providing ability to see deer, rabbits, dragonflies, butterflies, birds, cranes, blue and green heron and native flowers. We sometimes see raccoons, eagle, hawk, wood peckers, coyote and fox. During the day you'll see our ducks and chickens free-ranging and our sheep may join them or be in their pasture. We have an active homestead farm and we are focused on building a thriving environment for pollinators. The views of the lake are gorgeous and the loft sleeping accommodations were super cozy! After we left we realized that we left some near and dear prized possessions (a special hat and one single ear bud) and Julie was kind enough to reach out and then mail these items to us! Our goal was to find a place we could wake up in the woods, and this was the spot! Nice having coffee on the deck overlooking the property and ending the day w a fire. We were pretty self-sufficient, but my impression was that if we needed something we could just message to ask. I would have liked to be more social w. our hosts but just didn’t have the energy; the whole point of us being there was for a much needed respite. Also we were there during the work week and they were busy going about their business. We stayed in the treehouse and didn’t need the heat even, it is pretty well insulated which also cuts the train noise others commented on. Super cute goat! Very personable turkey! Definitely the woods go back a fair ways for exploring. We found good nearby hikes too; the big loop around the lake at Metamora-Hadley was a really good route.

I really enjoyed my stay at Julie’s B52 “Love Shack.” My dog and I felt right at home. Julie provided everything we could need. The upstairs was so relaxing and peaceful. The outside grill and zero gravity chairs were perfect for enjoying a delicious meal and providing front-row seats to view the stars and moon. The outside shower was an experience and a first for me. I mistakenly thought I had put enough water in there, but ran out with my hair covered in shampoo. Luckily, I was able to rebound pretty quickly and enjoyed an ice-cold shower on an extraordinarily hot day for October. Overall, this place and space offered me exactly what I was looking for, and I look forward to revisiting it soon.

If you're looking for a place to get away for a few days I'd highly recommend. Booked during the week in September and had the whole place to myself. Plenty of places to walk around on the property and explore. I stayed in the treehouse and would encourage you to try it for yourself. The hosts left me pretty much to myself unless I requested something and they were friendly and quick to respond if I needed something (fresh eggs, firewood, etc). The tent campsites I saw were all nice and clean and were far enough apart to have some privacy if they have multiple guests. They also have a group campground. One note, watch the chickens, they are sneaky and will sneak up and steal your food if you aren't careful. I'll definitely be back.

We had an awesome time at B’Mos hideout. A great nature sanctuary with a very hospitable and responsible host Bryan - who also gives plenty of space and privacy. We ran out of wood on our second night and Brian popped over in 15 minutes with more bundles. The property is well kept. Great place to hangout and be one with nature. If you’re looking for a hardcore hiking experience tho, this is not that. The trails on the property go in a loop, and there is plenty of hiking to do off trail, but it’s not the miles of trails you may find in a state park. This property is in a rural neighborhood, so some of the neighbors have working dogs, others have shooting ranges, and there is a road nearby so it’s not 100% secluded from civilization. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic way to slow down, recharge, and enjoy the breeze in the trees!

My partner and I LOVED camping with Brian. The site was perfect and the trails were beautiful. The campsites were a pretty good walk from each other and you have the option to put up ropes for completely privacy. Brian was an amazing host, he explained the land and area really well and was great to talk to. We had a few troubles including not being able to blow up our air mattress and even our car battery needing a jump and he was just a call away ready to help!!! Really a good guy and a great place to set up camp. 10/10 recommend this camp as we will be back with our friends!!

This was my first Hipcamp experience. Our host was great. They were very responsive and helpful and very accommodating when we got there. They filled tiki torches, delivered firewood, and we had some laughs before we started to set up camp. The site was clean and the property is beautiful. We pet the goat, and the turkey laughed at us. There are outdoor showers (heated) a short walk up the trail. There is a cool trail that loops around the property. The train, as mentioned by others, did wake me up a couple times. I'll definitely be back at this site but I'm a light sleeper and will just bring my loops/ear plugs. Sleeping in may also be tough considering the rooster. I usually sleep in on weekends but we were excited to wake up and get the fire going again. There are portable toilets which are way better than up against a tree. The location is great coming from metro area - Oxford Grill is a nice stop on the way in or out and Bald Mountain recreation area/shooting range. Surprisingly low amount of mosquitoes/bugs while we were there.

Loved our stay, it was a total vibe- very raw land which we appreciate. The goat, chickens, and turkeys follow you everywhere (including the shower) which is hilarious, as they become your own personal groupies- they are little thieves though, so keep your food guarded, they stole a peach from our toddler and some watermelon. Don’t worry it was local and organic. The zip line into the swimming area was really fun and we loved hearing the train pass by several times a day. Our only issue was the amount of poison ivy at two of the RV sites, with a toddler and a dog who love to explore it was impossible to stay out of it. Luckily we were able to utilize a different area for socializing but if the spots are all booked this wouldn’t have been an option. All that said we would still recommend this campsite and would love to return in the future. It was peaceful, wild, calming and exactly what we needed. Om Shanti
