No playground equipment but one of the best RV sites in Michigan (that I have found). The Quanicassee River is one of the cleanest rivers in our area. Lots of boats go out and in by the dock. ABOUT THE FARM We have a working, organic farm with a lot of animals, however, we also do crops as well. This particular farm is 138 acres with 8 acres of woods. We have working dogs, sheep, cattle, horses, a couple goatsWe have some super great animals. Most of which are very friendly. You never know what will be available to see on the farm when you visit. We are expecting a foal (baby horse) this summer (2021) and are already planning for another foal next summer as well. We often have puppies as well and sometimes we have to bottle feed lambs. There's never a dull moment. Our farm is unique in the way of having a very positive VIBE to it. The energy is awesome! It's really a space of tranquility and healing if you allow yourself to go there. After hosting with air bnb for a little over a year now, we decided to give this a try as well. We love hosting people and having them come to the farm and enjoy our way of life. It also helps to have a supplemental income as having and running a small family farm isn't very sustainable. Typically there's off the farm jobs to help pay for the farm life. It's a crazy equation. Small family farms are far and few between. Please support your local farmer if possible! This is a wonderful spot to camp! The back yard is spacious, with a hammock, wind chimes, fire pit, and table. Behind the back yard are some trails that go deep into the north woods. The host was very gracious, taking time to check in with me while she was travelling out of state. Also, the beach at Tawas Point just became one of my favorite beaches in Michigan, up there with Oval Beach in Saugatuck and the "secret spot" off Old Freesoil Road in the Manistee National Forest, between Ludington and Manistee, north of Big Sable Point. It is a fascinating little piece of land that sticks down into Tawas Bay.

We had an awesome time at B’Mos hideout. A great nature sanctuary with a very hospitable and responsible host Bryan - who also gives plenty of space and privacy. We ran out of wood on our second night and Brian popped over in 15 minutes with more bundles. The property is well kept. Great place to hangout and be one with nature. If you’re looking for a hardcore hiking experience tho, this is not that. The trails on the property go in a loop, and there is plenty of hiking to do off trail, but it’s not the miles of trails you may find in a state park. This property is in a rural neighborhood, so some of the neighbors have working dogs, others have shooting ranges, and there is a road nearby so it’s not 100% secluded from civilization. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic way to slow down, recharge, and enjoy the breeze in the trees!

Wonderful venue!! We didn’t realize until we arrived, this is not a “campground“ but a historical village, and you camp on their grounds. The only negative would be that there’s no shower, but that was not a big deal. We went to a play at The Barn Theater onsite - perfect for us theater folk! We were tempted to leave a bad review so we could have the place to ourselves, but that wouldn’t be fair!! Quiet, beautiful, lots of things to do in the area - what’s not to love?!!

My husband and I loved staying here (we stayed a full 10 days)!! The campsite is very private, spacious, and relaxing!! Communication with Tabitha was great and she responded to my questions/concerns quickly!! T-Mobile cell service really wasn't too bad (it was much better than the service at our house)! We enjoyed the trails through the woods and playing with our 3 dogs in the wide open space in the campsite. Watching the turtles was also a plus! Highly recommended!!

I love camping here this place is amazing. Nothing like sitting in your tent looking out and seeing 15 turkey the next morning we seen two ten point bucks staring at us and the trails are also great and the host, Bryan he's the best, will definitely be back.

Had a great time there. Bryan was a great host, very friendly and accommodating! The site was huge compared to other camp sites I've been to before. The clothing optional part was great! Enjoyed the trails in the woods, and the fact that he has the sites sprayed for mosquitoes! Can't wait to go again next year!

Our second stay at the property and as good as ever. We arrived a bit late so we didn’t meet our Host however she provided all the info we required. The site is really amazing with clusters of refurbished heritage buildings. We felt safe and had access to washroom facilities (no showers) which was very convenient. We highly recommend a stay

Wildlife and nature abound. Our peaceful and private grounds will be your camping oasis. Within walking distance of beautiful Lake Huron with its beaches and marina and parks, plus the Port Sanilac Lighthouse (tours available on summer Fridays), and several bars and restaurants. Check out our Farmers' Market on Fridays and catch a live play at the 150-year-old Barn Theatre. Take a guided tour of the beautiful Loop-Harrison Mansion, built in 1872. Or hop on a 1917 open-air Model T or horse and carriage for a tour around town. There is always something happening at the Museum! Learn more about this land: RV campers are welcomed to our beautiful 10-acre grounds at the Sanilac County Historic Village and Museum. At this time, we do not allow tent campers. Campers are invited to use our two large communal bonfire pits. Firewood is available for purchase. Advance notice is recommended. Guest WIFI is available in and near the Mansion but does not reliably connect to our camping areas. Here you will find beauty, quiet, and privacy. Be sure to wander our brick/stone path and nature trail that combine to make a one-mile walking path around the grounds. You'll enjoy bridges, swings and benches to rest awhile, a boardwalk, a fairy garden, 14 flower gardens, birds and wildlife, and lots more! The path also winds past each of our 17 historic buildings and the 1942 U.S. Army Troop Train. Tour the beautiful Loop-Harrison Mansion, celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2022. Enjoy a live performance at the Barn Theatre on Friday and Saturday evenings. Take a unique tour of Port Sanilac in our 1917, open-air Model T or horse and carriage. We are located within walking distance of beautiful Lake Huron, including a lakeside park, beach, harbor, and break wall. Check out the live music at the harbor park every Saturday during the summer months. The historic Port Sanilac Lighthouse (tours offered on Fridays) is also within walking distance, as well as restaurants, bars, and shopping. Great location, 5 min from Hwy 25 (East of Bay CIty {20 minutes}, Frankenmuth just 35 minutes. High Speed WiFi, Water & 50 amp Power; Sewer dump. No playground equipment but one of the best RV sites in Michigan (that I have found). The Quanicassee River is one of the cleanest rivers in our area. Lots of boats go out and in by the dock. DNR boat ramp near. There are resident eagles, ducks, geese, swans, pelicans (rare) and lots of fish.
