We are close to Gladwin, Ross Lake, ORV trails and the Juicy Bone. The river flows into Wixom Lake which is anticipated to be back in 2025. Sandy beach with river access . Quiet, despite a nearby road/bridge, and situated on the Tobacco River, Riverdaze offered me a private retreat while visiting friends nearby. I stayed for 3 nights with two pups and enjoyed the hospitality of the host as well as the convenience of nearby activities and restaurants. The hosts are putting work into the property, with improvements, and I'll keep it in mind if in the area again. The sites are perfect for tenters, small trailers, or those interested in boondocking with fire rings and picnic tables provided. A new treehouse and available water activities are great for families and adventurists.

I loved tent camping at Kristina and Kevins Land! Right on the River it truly puts you in a daze. There's a beach to hang out at and some short but nice trails. Super welcoming as having a campground runs in Kevin's blood. We will be back 🤟✌️

We had such a great time here, my kids loved it and can’t wait to come back. Definitely family friendly. Being on the river is incredible. The host were so great just like the other reviews said. Helpful, kind, and also not to overbearing. Rent the kayaks! It’s a great trip.

This place was absolutely beautiful. Extremely quiet, very nicely groomed smooth trails. Endless stars. No bugs at all. Spent a few days kayaking, riding my quads a bit (slowly to not hurt anything) and just enjoying nature. Host was nice and responded quickly with any of my questions. I recommend showing up in the day as it is very hard to find at night. (We went in the wrong field the first time because it was pitch black) 😂 definitely recommend this spot for a getaway.

The host was amazing! He doted over us making sure we had everything we needed for a great experience. Quiet, incredibly clean and manicured. The river was fantastic. After I forgot what I needed for kayaking, the host offered their kayaks which we spent the day on. So peaceful. The town had a great ice cream shop, out of town was great BBQ. We will return.

Jon's property is incredible. The sites are huge, private, and well-manicured. He also has hiking trails throughout the property that are abundant with wildlife. During our stay we saw deer, what looked like a small bobcat, fresh bear droppings, and a heron. In addition to this all, we got to watch a spectacular meteor shower one of our nights. The price is pretty comparable to public campgrounds, but what you get is so much more spectacular in terms of nature and privacy. We actually took a day trip to Harrisville State Park and hung out at Lake Huron and were quickly reminded how much nicer it is to have solitude vs sites packed in together. We also hiked just a few minutes away in the Huron National Forest. Bottom line, you'll love it.

This little campground is such a gem. We loved that it is right on the river in a wooded area. A great spot for kayaking and fishing, and it’s close to the cute little town of Beaverton. Communication with the hosts was really smooth and they were so accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!
