Laureleye Farms is a 70-acre horse farm in SE PA with access to great hiking trails and the Brandywine River for floating, dipping, or just sitting. Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine River Museum, Delaware Children's Museum and other Chester County attractions are all within 20-30 minutes. We welcome well-behaved pets on leashes. Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's. Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows. There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites. Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive. Weekend Trip to Countryside Horse Farm

What a fabulous time it was on this farm. I went in December so it was a bit cold. The owner was was very kind. She had already put a space heater in there and warms it up for me. If you don't like the cold then do not go in the cooler months but you ABSOLUTELY should go in the 3 other seasons. I loved meeting the horses and waking up to the sounds of a rooster. On the way out to this farm I saw a few other farms. I saw the biggest bald eagle I've ever seen in my life as well as peacocks. All this in NJ. This was an amazing experience.

Great, easily accessible place. Dog friendly a huge plus with fenced area to roam. Host is very friendly and checked in during our stay how we were doing. Highly recommended if you are in the area! Cabin even in fall/winter has space heater and holds heat well.

The Chapel is a beautiful little getaway located next to Buck Run, a refreshing creek nestled in a serene landscape of horse farms and wooded areas. You can walk right into the Laurels, a stunning 500-acre preserve of land with lovely trails to run and walk. We can highly recommend staying here!

The cabin was so comfortable and exactly what I needed. I spent probably half of my weekend enjoying the bug-free front porch, listening to music (and playing!), and just having a totally empty brain. The people, though - they really made the stay! I was welcomed into conversations as though I'd been part of the community for years. There was room to explore! The pool was a welcome surprise - I only say that because I'm not much of a pool guy. This was where folks gathered to talk, read, snack... whatever! What a wonderful community!

Our party booked campsite number one and the glamping cabin - what an awesome overnight it was! Loredana made sure that we had all the instructions about the site, bathroom accommodations, and were set up for a lovely evening. Perfect sunset over the river, the horses came to visit, and we made some fantastic memories. Honestly, a perfect overnight for a group of seasoned campers and camping newbies.
