Good Cellular signal. Good access road for your RV. The amazing views include Owl's Head lighthouse and Matinicus island in the very far distance, sunrise over Ragged Mountain and the Camden hills. To the north the Dixmont, and Bangor areas are visible. Watch the sunset to the west over Sennebec pond and Appleton ridge. To the southwest Mt. We built this cabin recently with siblings and a few skilled friends to make a getaway place for the extended family. Just 2 miles off Rte. One our location is quiet and perfect for exploring the midcoast of Maine - a short drive to many favorite places! The cabin is built on property adjacent to our fruit farm which is slowly building up to full production with a kiwi orchard planted, ramps seeded, and a producing strawberry hoophouse for early ripening fruit. We move our horse and pony around to different fields during the warmer months, and keep pekin ducks (the white ones) (now all in retirement!). The farm is 78+ acres with logging roads and is located on a quiet road. Food markets and some good places to eat are within 6-7 miles. There is an outdoor shower, a nice outhouse, a campstove, oil lamps etc - so it's is very old fashion yet comfortable cabin stay! Bring your own towels and maybe some candles. Plenty of board games, and maps of our local hikes and places to explore. If you come in the fall you should know that the roof is insulated but the walls are not - so layer up, bring extra blankets, and hugging the woodstove might be necessary! You'll enjoy the screened porch in all kinds of weather.

Beautiful private place with a 360 view of the mountains! Completely impressed by the stone picnic table! The turn is a bit hidden so drive very slowly — we reached the top of the mountain and had to turn around because we went too far. I think the sign is a little hidden within the bushes. Otherwise, such a lovely stay! Would return!

We had a fantastic stay at our camper spot in Boothbay, ME. The site was spacious, peaceful, and surprisingly close to town—perfect for both relaxing and exploring. One of the highlights was the quick walk to the waters, which made morning strolls and sunrise views incredibly easy. Sunsets are only a short drive away on Ocean Point. We spent time hiking through several Boothbay Regional Land Trust preserves, which offered beautiful scenic views and a great variety of trails. Would absolutely love to come back again. Kari was great to work with. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with easy access to everything Boothbay has to offer.

Great location to explore the Boothbay Harbor area. It is just the right size camp. The electric and water are great to have. We are in a campervan and only need a household plug which this site has. Stars were beautiful and night quiet. The site is private but not isolated. There is light foot, bike and car traffic. We road our bikes all around. Grimes Cove Beach, lunch at the Bluebird Ocean Point Inn, hikes Ocean Point Preserve and Linekin and Burley Preserve. Saw some eagles. We explored Boothbay Harbor area. The East Boothbay General Store has really good breakfast sandwiches and other wonderful items. We would stay again.

This is our most beloved spot. We love it because of its spectacular view over Maine and the absolute privacy! We have been coming for years and were never disappointed by the place or the host. Rod has always been very forthcoming, helpful and reliable. This time he even gave us a tour to the second spot that he plans to open up next year: another spot with all the privacy you could wish for and an amazing view. If you are looking for a spot that gives you beauty and privacy but also the closeness to Camden and Rockport for getting some hustle and bustle in summer in Maine, you are at the perfect place. We are looking forward to come back again. And we are planning to do that in October. With a camper, it doesn't matter when it gets a little cold at night, because the view is always amazing no matter the season.

This site was absolutely incredible! We stayed here for one night and would definitely stay here again. We were able to pick some fresh blueberry’s in the morning. The views from the campsite are very nice but loved how the site had a table, chairs, and fire pit. Bugs were not an issue at all. We will definitely be returning in the future to camp here and explore more of the surrounding area.

We had an amazing time here. The land is beautiful and we got to enjoy a serene sunset & sunrise. We picked lots of blueberries and appreciated that there were chairs, a fire pit, and a table provided. My partner & I agreed that it was one of the best camping spots we have been to!
