The land our farm is on has been in my family for generations. It was originally part of my Great Grand Fathers dairy farm. We took over this section of the land to create our own farm several years ago. We raise beef, pork, chicken, and goats to sell. We also have several horses on the farm. The camping spot has been used by our family for years hosting “back forty” parties and weekend getaways. The pond was dug by my grandfather over 40 years ago for irrigation. It is no longer used for that and has become a wonderful frog pond that is stocked with trout. Over the last few years, we upgraded the camping area with a shed, outhouse, fire pit and granite bench, and a bean hole bean pit. The shed is used for firewood storage and other camp items. We have direct access to the ATV/Multi use trail system that can take you all over Central Maine. We have mowed waking trails around the property and acres of woods to explore.

The Sebasticook Millennium Green is a terraced 207 acre forest with over 18 miles of trails. Vehicle access is via a seasonal town road with parking a short walk from campsites. There are four unimproved sites with picnic tables and fire rings that will only accommodate one tent. These sites are accessible with a regular vehicle and located a short distance from the marginally maintained (dirt) town road. We try to provide firewood for the sites when possible and campers are welcome to gather downed wood to use. There is a fifth site (ridge) that is a mile hike through the woods or accessible via 4wd vehicle, this site has room for four tents, has a large firepit, three picnic tables and an outhouse.

It is private and have made several little upgrades to cabin including glass front wood stove, picnic table as examples but more. It is still like going back in time 100 years. Firewood and campfire wood provided. It is smallish on inside but can easily accommodate 5 people. Queen bed with bunk beds on 1st floor bedroom and full size bed and single in loft bedroom. Propane lights and cookstove...propane provided. Wood Stove for heat. Canoe available for use. Close to Moosehead Lake, and better, in my opinion, even closer, less traveled spots like Lake Onawa and ponds and streams nearby. Great place to truly escape. Cell service for most. I leave folder like a hotel almost, with directions to spots. Water at sink is provided and can be replenished nearby, if or when needed. Clean bed linens provided.
