We are additionally proud to be cannabis caregivers here in Maine, devoted to living soil-grown, rare genetics and terpene-rich strains that express the medicinal power of the plants, particularly pertaining to the endocannabinoid system’s function within the human body.

Our outpost is located ½ way to the cabin/campsite area and across from the event field. Offerings rotate seasonally to include in-house-made goods and services.
We are also happy to offer cannabis caregiver services on site with a diverse selection of small batch flower and other THC/CBD products to enjoy while finding your Peace Of Maine.
We occasionally host unique events and services that will be announced on our social media pages and may be requested for small groups with prior arrangements made. We invite you to come stay at our location in the Western Maine mountains. We are located off of the Long Falls Dam Rd in Carrying Place Township, in the heart of Maine's wilderness. Our property offers beautiful mountain views; many nearby hiking trails; nearby swimming, boating, fishing and kayaking at Flagstaff Lake; along with numerous back roads to explore and look for wildlife. You can also find ATV trails about a half hour drive away in the town of Kingfield. Ensure you are guaranteed a spot just outside the Bigelow Preserve and everything it has to offer. Our sites sit behind a locked gate that is monitored 24/7 with a security camera. Also, although we are remote, we do offer Wi-Fi for your convenience.
Please take note that our sites are remote. We may be right off a paved road, but the closest town with a store is a half an hour drive. Also be mindful that this is the Maine wilderness, there are wild animals that frequent our location, along with biting insects such as deer flies and mosquitoes. This truly is a beautiful location, but please be sure to pack accordingly for your stay.

If you are looking for a place to camp that is remote, quiet, well maintained and has some of the most picturesque views from your campsite and beyond, look no further than Orange Gate Sites! They offer anything that you are looking for in outdoor accommodations. From a spacious RV site, (or in our case, a full size school bus) to a tent site for the more adventurous, to a cozy cabin with many amenities to make your stay more comfortable. Orange Gate Sites is clean, has ready to burn firewood, sturdy fire pits that you can even cook your meals on, and clean outdoor toilets. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and want to thank our hosts for a fabulous weekend!

I only stayed one night, but it was absolutely terrific. The spot is beautiful, peaceful, and really well cared for. You can tell Leketa and Hillary put a lot of thought into the small touches — it made all the difference. We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was cozy with everything we needed for cooking right on hand. Super easy to get to, which made the trip more relaxing.
The location was prime, about 100 yards of waterfront to enjoy, with sunny mornings and shady afternoons that were perfect for hanging out. Our two dogs had the best time. We’d absolutely come back!

We loved tenting here! Our site was private and serene. Porta potty is very clean and a short walk from the sites. We loved spending time on the pond and being woken up by the loon calls. As other reviewers have mentioned, the doughnuts are amazing!

If you haven't been here you are all missing out!! This is one of the BEST camp sites for tenting i have been to. Danyl and Alpha are absolutely WONDERFUL hosts too!! If you want privacy and have the real authentic feel of camping I would suggest this place! Depending on where you book on site, we had the View and could see not only Sugarloaf mountain but, the stars at night were absolutely breathtaking. The sky was so open with the landscape of mountains in the background. The camp has a series of little outlets to actually spread your stuff out so its doesnt feel cramped. The porta potty is super clean and the town is a half hour for all your needs! My partner and I will definitely be coming back as regulars and this is now one of my favorite places to camp! Book now! You're missing out if you don't!! Much love to you both Danyl and Alpha!! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

This hipcamp was perfect for our overnight stay before climbing Little Bigelow the next day (the trailhead was only 4 minutes from our campsite!). Great communication, and easy to find and check in. The only drawback is that there wasn't a large flat surface to pitch our tent, so we ended up on sloping ground, which wasn't ideal. Other than that, highly recommend!

100% would recommend! The sites are very private, the location is beautiful, the view from “The View” is breathtaking! The owners have done a great job making you feel like you’re taken care of without being in your face, from the solar string lights on the path to the bathroom to the binder full of maps and things to do in the region, they really thought of everything. If you like disbursed, private, rural camping this is the place!

The Little Red Cabin has a beautiful view of the water from it's porch. Leketa and Hillary have it well stocked with cookware, stove, and wash area.
There's an outpost with all kinds of useful items available for purchase.
The fishing is great and I suggest renting the canoe for better access and sunrise views.
The bed was comfy.
We spotted an eagle in the morning. The loons serenaded us to sleep.
I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

We loved every part of this place! The cabin is cute, it's in a wicked beautiful setting, tons of amenities. I'm used to more bare-bones camping and therefore over-packed -- we didn't need half the stuff we brought because Leketa and Hillary thought of basically everything. They were also very friendly and kind, gave great directions, and had helpful tips for our stay in the area (like swimming in Lake George, and Vittles for breakfast). Loons were around pretty much the whole time, and we also saw deer, bald eagles, geese, fish, frogs, and turtles. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

The hosts Alpha & Danyl were so helpful even before I booked the site. I was experiencing difficulties with the app and they walked me through.
The site "The view" is aptly named.
The site worked well for my 4x8 trailer with roof top tent and 10x10 ez-up screen room, leaving plenty of room remaining.
The fire pit had an adjustable grilling grate that could be swung out of the way. The porta potty was clean and the perfect distance from the site. One bundle of wood and a bag of kindling provided with site and more available for purchase, as well as fire starters.
Verizon phone had 3 bars of service.
My favorite part aside from the view was the privacy, didn't see or hear another person all night.
Will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.
