Fieldstone Farm is a 35-acre property in Warren, Maine. Our waterfront campsite is located on a wooded parcel nestled between a rolling farm field and a seasonal cottage. Amenities included in the nightly rental are a 16-foot diameter round Regatta Bell canvas tent set up on a raised wooden platform, with a queen-sized pull-out futon, two additional single-sized futon chairs, and an indoor dining table and stools. Outside, overlooking beautiful Crawford Pond (aka Crawford Lake) is an outdoor kitchen and lounging area with patio table and chairs, umbrella, as well as kitchenware (cookware, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, coffee press, etc.), a gas grill, and firepit. The 100 acre wood located in the hills of Oxford County is a peaceful get away from the hussle and bussle of todays world. Recently selectively logged we discovered views of local mountains and decided to take advantage of the clearings. The cabin was built for me to steal away from the house and enjoy the wildlife, quiet, stars and silence. It is too peaceful to keep to myself so come and enjoy all that Norway Maine and the surrounding area has to offer! Learn more about this land: Welcome to Lulu's. Where you can get a little crazy under the moon or you can take in the peace and serenity of the stillness in the woods. Depends on what you are looking for! No neighbors to infringe on your ideal get away. The large cabin has a welcoming front porch to enjoy the amazing sunrises over Streaked Mtn. 100 acres of privacy to hike, watch wildlife and just relax. Cabin has outside facilities. Off the grid-no electric or running water. Cell service is adequate. 1 gallon of fresh well water provided for drinking and 10 gallons for washing/cooking. Bring your own linens for a queen size bed, twin bunk beds and a full pull out couch. 2 pillows are supplied with a pillow protective cover and pillow case which are washed after each guest. Pots, pans and utensils, are onsite which are washed between campers; trash bags, compost bags, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a 2 burner propane stove(green canisters needed) and an older propane table top grill are provided. Weekend Trip to Trees of Life Retreat (ToLR)

My pup and I had a great time at ToLR. We had a hilarious greeting of turkeys and hens and then about 100 yards then to the right and we were there! The happy birds were a highlight each morning, the nuthatches were busy. The trails behind the woodshed were lovely and quiet. The cabin was so clean and so thoughtfully done. We didn’t want to leave and will for sure be back. Such a lovely and peaceful place.

The location was easy to locate and access. My dog and I were able to drive up and down the hill without issue. The area was all setup so perfectly. The fire pit area was beautiful and safely tucked up away from the cabin, with the outhouse on the opposite side. Waking up to a sunrise like this one was unforgettable. The night sky was so beautiful and so clear. It's was an exceptional experience to say the least! My dog and I are excited to come back again soon and spend more time out on the trails, that are only steps away from the front porch. ❤️

Beautiful, well kept campsite. The water access and peaceful surroundings are something special. We saw bald eagles, loons and lots of fish jumping! It does get chilly at night so definitely remember to pack warm sleeping bags/blankets. Highly recommend this beautiful spot!

I almost hate to leave a review because I want to keep this little piece of heaven all to ourselves. Gorgeous views and just rustic enough, but still with key comforts. Cozy beds, cook ware essentials, outdoor "kitchen" station with a killer view, quirky little touches, and a great porch. The chipmunks (red squirrels?) kept our dog very busy "hunting". No worries, she didn't catch anything, they just teased her with their chirping. We watched the full moon come up over the trees and cooked dinner over the fire. Can't wait to come back!

The cabin is adorable and simple with rustic charm, but the porch is my absolute favorite part. The view is spectacular and it’s the perfect place to sit and stare or read a book. There’s a little outdoor kitchen area where my kids delighted in doing dishes, even though they would never do them at home. The pup also enjoyed sniffing around camp off leash. Bring dry firewood for campfire cooking and be sure your car can handle a bumpy ride, the driveway is very rocky. My Outback did ok, but my husband’s sedan would never make it. Also be prepared for a primitive toilet bucket situation.

This was our first experience with Hipcamp and it was awesome. We had such a great time camping at Fieldstone Farm! It was very private with lots of lakefront area. The tent was super comfortable and the set up on the deck was great. Amanda was very responsive and gave us lots of great information. The site is centrally located with easy access to Thomaston, Rockland and Camden. Highly recommend it!

Jotul stove provides plenty of heat! You will find plenty of dry wood waiting for you inside with much more outside! Please note, doesn't take much to keep you cozy!

3 nights at Trees of Life Retreat (ToLR)

Stayed at the Trees of Life Retreat two consecutive weekends with my two dogs. This was the perfect place for us. Quiet remote, clean, and fully outfitted with everything you need. Lindell is a kind and responsive host and the cabin is set up perfectly. When we arrived the cabin had a hot stove already set up and was totally warm so we could unpack and get comfortable right away which was a welcome touch very much appreciated. We stayed right at the end of March 1 week of April and the road up was heaving (no driving on it) so something to be aware of is you have to carry/wagon all of your gear up to the cabin - about a quarter mile away. Not the end of the world (we survived it), but definitely requires quite a bit of physical activity, depending on how much gear you bring. Anyway, I highly recommend the trees of life retreat. Had an amazing stay and definitely plan to come back for another visit sometime soon.

Maybe one of the best camping experiences we’ve had in Maine. The land is large, lots of space to wander around and explore. We didn’t see anyone the whole time. The cabin seems to have everything you could need. The google maps directions to the GPS coordinates on the listing try to take you the wrong way though! Make sure to read the directions in the app.
