This sprawling historic retreat offers 10 beautifully appointed cottages that can accommodate 50 overnight guests. There is a very large, beautiful meeting room as well as an enormous banquet hall with a well-stocked commercial kitchen, compete with all linens, tableware, and stemware. The covered, screened pavilion is enormous and is the perfect place for a wedding ceremony, reception, or conference. Guests absolutely love to stretch out on the 13 acres and explore the neatly manicured grounds. The river is easily accessible and is usually the right depth for wading, swimming, kayaking and canoeing. In the hot summer months, the massive pool provides a welcome oasis, while tennis and basketball is always available. Nestled on 93 stunning acres, this campground features 85 spacious full hookup sites, each equipped with large concrete slabs. Approximately 95% of the RV sites overlook our beautiful ponds, allowing guests to step out of their campers and start fishing within mere feet.
The park boasts five distinct fishing ponds, encompassing around 51 acres of water. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish, including largemouth bass, bream, white perch (sac-a-lait), and several types of catfish. For those looking to explore, paddle boats and single or tandem kayaks are available for rent, or feel free to bring your own!
