Pelican’s View Lodge sits suspended over the water in the quiet fishing community of Cocodrie, Louisiana—one of the most productive inshore and offshore fishing destinations on the entire Gulf Coast. If you’re coming to South Louisiana to fish, this is where you want to be based. The lodge sleeps 10 across 2 bedrooms and a loft. Bedroom 1 has a king bed. Bedroom 2 has two twin-over-full bunk beds. The loft includes two additional twin-over-full bunk beds. There are 2.5 bathrooms. Every stay includes fresh linens, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee maker, and Keurig. What sets PVL apart from every other rental in the area is the private boat launch and two private boat slips right on the property. No trailer lines. No crowded public ramps. You pull up, launch, and you’re in open water in minutes—a major advantage when the bite is on at first light or during tournament weekends when public ramps are full. We also offer abundant trailer parking on-site, night fishing lights, a fish cleaning station with running water, an outdoor freezer to bag and freeze your catch, and upper and lower screened decks to watch shrimp boats drift by at sunset. For cooking your catch, there is a charcoal BBQ grill, a boiling pot, and a fish-frying pot with burner available on-site. Please bring your own propane.
