3 nights at Rita’s Roost - RV Sites

Beautiful views especially with the moon over the water at night (beach is a hop across the street) very quiet area, no crowds Mr. Glenn came check on us to make sure we had what we needed when we arrived and he was also quick with responses during our stay. Excellent host! We will definitely return to this little slice of paradise!

Ocean went well beyond his duties as a host to help us out when we got lost and stuck in the mud after an unusually heavy rain storm over a mile away from their home. I cannot thank him enough as we were in the dark 4 states away from home just me and my 3 young children. The kindness shown to a stranger is unmatched! We were so grateful. Beyond that, the property was beautiful and fun to explore. The free-roaming animals were very friendly and added a unique charm to this hipcamp I have yet to find elsewhere. The bathroom was clean and there was a community kitchen available with a sink, microwave, and toaster oven. Due to our adventures getting stuck in the mud, we were able to do laundry for super cheap ($4 to wash and dry a load) just 2 miles away from the sanctuary. Their children were VERY sweet and my kids enjoyed playing with them. I would Highly recommend the Snow White Sanctuary to anyone who loves animals!

Waffles is the best! Everyone was super friendly and chill, even the other guests. The canvas tents with A/C are a must in the summer. Loved seeing all the animals wandering around—they really have something magical here. (We brought our small Chihuahua-mix pup and she loved it too!)

Quirky, amazing spot literally steps away from the beach. Dogs loved it, and so did we! It was a perfect spot for a reset and soul cleanse.

Very quiet and low key, I came in late and stayed just 1 night while passing through for work. Communication was excellent, the directions were perfect. My campsite fit my needs exactly.

Tent camping here was a dreamm! All the animals are soo friendly and so is the host. It felt very welcoming here and it is such a beautiful piece of land to explore! Will definitelyyy go back again!!!

Such a wonderful stay - All the animals were so friendly!

We had a beautiful time here! The animals were such a treat, particularly Uhtred the big fluffy Pyrenees and Figgy Pudding the little pig. Our campsite was by the water, which was lovely. The worker dogs came and checked on us overnight and even slept outside our tent for awhile. Overall, we loved staying here and would stay again next time we’re in town!

Amazing experience. My wife and two kids stayed in a yurt with ample room and the A/C made it all the more relaxing. As we cooked over a campfire, a camp cat and two dogs visited and hung with us. The next morning we visited all the animals: turkeys, horses, pigs, goats, peacocks, ducks, etc. etc. Perhaps the friendliest place I've been to in over five years of Hipcamp. This place is a treasure.

The area is well maintained, quiet times are 9pm-8am which is very nice, and the hosts are friendly and accommodating. It's a very safe place to camp with young children.

Great trip! We had a blast with the paddle board!

Absolutely amazing! Ocean was a great host and welcoming. The animals were so adorable and fantastic to watch. Going to sleep and waking up to all the beautiful sounds of nature and life was the best part. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely stay again when in the area❤️

Awesome location with great scenery and an abundant amount of friendly animals, privacy, and quiet.

The camping is okay- there are a couple of spots near a pond or away from it- but what really makes this one special is all the life. There are so many animals walking free- dogs, cats, goats, horses, Guinea fowl peacocks... And that's just the start. This place has such life and such a good vibe.

Such a peaceful little stay! Alyssa and Ocean were such calm and welcoming hosts. Love how easy and chill the stay was, and also loved the opportunity to hold some baby goats!!

Weekend Trip to Beyonder Resort Cajun Moon

I arrived late so did not get to walk around and enjoy the animals and had to get an early start in the morning. This is my 3rd visit and having a full bathroom available is a bonus. I just really enjoy the tranquility and being around animals so I definitely will be back

We got there later than expected to camp and were about to have to cook in the dark after setting up the tents- not ideal. The hosts were very friendly and so acommodating that they shared some food they had leftover from a big party that day. We were so grateful and the location was so cool! I really want to go back and spend more time with all of the different animals! My friends and I won't forget this stop :)

The camping and parking areas are separate, and since this is a working farm, you may encounter some dust or mud between them. We're happy to assist you however we can to make your stay comfortable! Grass parking for RVs is available but may become muddy after heavy rain. Plans are in place to improve this with rock in the future.
