Our remote 375 acres part farm and part natural woodland nestled up to Daniel Boone Forest is ideal for hikers and nature lovers. There are several hiking trails onsite and plenty of woods to explore. ATVs or side by sides are welcome to be used on the main gravel roads and some designated areas of our property. There is plenty of wildlife around but no hunting is allowed. Our designated tent sites do have firepits and picnic tables. Our trek in sites do not have those options. Pets are welcome for $10 per pet/per booking and they do need to be leashed/under control at all times. This is an extra so please be sure to add that if you plan to bring your pet. Please pick up after them. We are a short driving distance from West Liberty, Cave Run Lake, Grayson Lake, Carter Caves, Morehead, Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. We are approximately 20 minutes from the nearest store so you'll want to come prepared. We are located in West Liberty (Morgan County). There is a centrally located bathhouse with toilet, shower and sink and a hose for potable water. We have firewood for sale for $15 per bundle and is an extra option when booking(use what you need during your stay and it is located at the tent sites), you can bring your own and you are welcome to gather from the surrounding area but please do not cut down any living trees/limbs.

Picturesque campground boasting 8 acres situated along the Ohio Brush Creek and Ohio River featuring waterfront sites, boat ramp, kayak tours, fishing and more. Bring your own tent, camper, RV, etc. or stay in our on-site camper rental for $125/night plus a $50 cleaning fee. We offer waterfront seasonal sites for $1,800 including unlimited boat ramp usage, boat storage, and water. Electric is not included. We offer seasonal non-waterfront sites for $1,000 that includes the same amenities as above. We also offer tent camping for $25 a night, BYOC dry camping for $40 a night and nightly hookup rates for $75/night. Non-campers have the option to buy a seasonal boat ramp pass for $150 or $10 per launch per boat. Kayak entry/exit $5 per kayak each way. Roaring Shoals Farm

The last week of May is hay cutting time, which is a great time to visit our farm! Roaring Shoals Farm is a Black Angus cattle and hay farm. It is a family farm set in the beautiful hills of eastern Kentucky. We have 600 acres of mountains that have amazing views, hiking trails, wildlife and tranquil creeks. Our family would love to welcome you to our farm! Learn more about this land: Roaring Shoals is a family farm.  This campsite  is a double capacity with full hookup, located in a rural community halfway between Jackson and Salyersville on Highway 30 East. The site is close to the road; however there is much woodland to explore located on the property. We have small waterfall and a natural rock formation that can be hiked to.  There is a shoal a very short walk from the campsite that is a wonderful place to enjoy the creek! There is great cellular service if your device uses Verizon towers, as there is a tower on the property.  This is the perfect place to come and relax if you are visiting the area.  It is approximately 12 miles from a small town with local restaurants and convenience stores.   Our farm raised , dry aged black angus beef can be purchased if available; please check availability by calling a few days prior to your stay.  You may also purchase firewood that was harvested from our property which is a certified tree farm.  Our cattle are raised on another of our properties located a few miles up the road.  We would be happy to schedule a time to take you there to see where they are born and raised.
