My family loved camping at the Peachtree site. It felt secluded even though we were just down the path from the amenities that families need. The views on the farm were breathtaking and we enjoyed the feeling of privacy we had at our site. The kids are already talking about coming back.

The best all around experience you could ask for! We had essentially a whole hilltop to ourselves, with beautiful views of both the sunset and sunrise. The grass was cut, area clean, and the closest neighbors were about a 1/4 mile away - which allowed our dog to have a great and unbothered time. The water spicket right in the campsite was a bonus! Not far up the road were full bathrooms with showers, and a very nice common area with games and amenities for anyone. The hosts were communicative and friendly, it’s very clear they take care of this place. A great time and we hope to return!

I can't stop bragging about My awesome weekend stay at the Possum Ridge Ranch. Where do I begin?🤔 when I arrived I was excited and impressed with the natural beauty of this vast and abundant 375 acre land. I have to admit I was taken back and a little overwhelmed by the camping possibilities. On arrival we were met by the hosts Liz and Mark. They showed us around and said we could camp anywhere on the property they were very helpful in narrowing it down to a very private and spacious camp spot. A perfect spot right next to a trickling stream and a short distance to all 3 of the waterfalls. We didn't see another human, except the hosts, all weekend. There are hiking trails throughout the property and as I mentioned 3 refreshing waterfalls. After a day of heavy duty hiking I showered in the waterfall. The water is crystal clear and I never felt so clean! We hiked up to the perfect spot for a view of the breathing taking unset. And in the early morning we witnessed an awesome sunrise. Liz and Mark are laid back and down to earth good people. I felt very free and safe on their land. There is a central bathhouse with a flush toilet and shower. I was impressed with how clean everything is. In addition to camping there are also accommodations of cabins on the property. There is also a central gathering spot with complimentary coffee, vending machines, and a real dart board!! I have to say, Possum Ridge Ranch is my favorite hipcamp!! A real utopian paradise! Thanks Liz and Mark✌️

What an Amazing property! This was beyond my expectations. We didn't even need to leave the property to hike and swim!! Took a nice soak under the cool waterfall which was about 50 ft away from our site!! We watched the sunrise and set with amazing views of both!!! Heaven on Earth litterally! Very hard to leave. Liz and Mark took great care of us and were the best couple!!! I can't wait to get back there!!!!

Weekend Trip to Roaring Shoals Farm

Amy's farm is in a beautifully setting with very friendly hosts and neighbors. Our children got a kick out of waving at every car that drove past. We did a little hiking up some steep gravel roads and got our feet wet in the clear running spring water. In the evening we found a dark spot along the road to star gaze and watched a pair of bats enjoying a feast of bugs. Our only struggle was with the deer ticks, which we developed a sharp eye for. We would definitely stay again should we find ourselves in the area.

1 night at Bar on the Mountain

It is a great site - especially if you have a group of people. It is a shame that some people leave there trash in the firepit instead of putting it in the provided garbage receptacles. A little tricky getting in there on a motorcycle as there is a rocky climb as you enter the property. an be done on an adventure motorcycle but not recommend for a low Harley.

2 nights at Serenity Camp

We had such a great camping experience. My son and I hammock camped while on a motorcycle road trip. We were able to stay in a newly built pavilion on top of a hill. It was so nice since a large storm rolled through during the first night. Because of it, we and our gear, were able to stay dry without any rain tarps. The property is very close to Natural Bridge SP and the RRG area. We had a really great time.

Jamie set up the perfect spot. There is a big pavilion to camp under and stay dry. The land is gorgeous. We were greeted by 5 friendly horses when we pulled up. If it rains during your visit, check out the massive waterfall just 2 minutes down the road from the campsite. Worth the visit

Sunset Ridge is a beautiful view. Private spot. Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Great trails, plenty to explore.

2 nights at Waterfront on The Edge

Great camping spot right on the water! So peaceful in the evening with a fire crackling and all the sounds of nature around. Nikki is awesome and so hospitable. She was there for anything we needed. Ask her about all the amazing nature to explore all around Adams County!

3 nights at Possum Ridge Ranch

I had a great experience staying at the Sunset Ridge site. Liz was fantastic and very responsive when I got a little turned around looking for the site (my own poor sense of direction was out in full force that day). The views were absolutely stunning and even though the weather wasn't the best the whole time, my dog and I got to get out and check out some of the trails and sights on the property. Gorgeous views, peace and quiet, and plenty of privacy made the stay amazing. While I did have to cut out a day early due to my old dog being quite over the experience, I plan to make my way back down to enjoy more time to unwind and relax. I truly can't recommend Possum Ridge Ranch enough.

1 night at Bar on the Mountain

We stayed for one night and the place is big enough to have 2-3 vehicles parked nearby. We enjoyed our time there, it was quiet. We noticed the chairs provided for seating near the fire pit were damaged and old but we brought our own chairs, so that was not an issue. I’d suggest replacing them just get rid of them. The portapotty provided was cleaner than most of the ones you usually use when public events happen. They also have fire wood for you to grab for $5.00, so that’s always handy when you want to have a fire. The only bad thing I can say is that the people who camped there before left a portable toilet tent on the ground, otherwise it was very clean. I would rent this camping ground again. Overall, the experience was great and would recommend to anyone to visit. Sara was very responsive and friendly when I asked questions about the rental. You won’t regret renting from Sara.

Unfortunately my trip was cut short, but the time I was there was very peaceful and serene. I didn’t get the pleasure of meeting the hosts, however through shared messages Liz was incredibly nice. The view was wonderful and the bathhouses were very clean and well stocked. They are also very nicely decorated. If opportunity allows, I will most definitely be back.

This was a beautiful property and amazing campsite. We tent camped at sunset ridge with 2 kids and 2 dogs. We had plenty of space and privacy. Having the bathhouse available was a great luxury and very appreciated by the kids. The hosts were kind, friendly and accommodating. We would definitely come back

Possum Ridge Ranch

Our remote 375 acres part farm and part natural woodland nestled up to Daniel Boone Forest is ideal for hikers and nature lovers. There are several hiking trails onsite and plenty of woods to explore. ATVs or side by sides are welcome to be used on the main gravel roads and some designated areas of our property. There is plenty of wildlife around but no hunting is allowed. Our designated tent sites do have firepits and picnic tables. Our trek in sites do not have those options. Pets are welcome for $10 per pet/per booking and they do need to be leashed/under control at all times. This is an extra so please be sure to add that if you plan to bring your pet. Please pick up after them. We are a short driving distance from West Liberty, Cave Run Lake, Grayson Lake, Carter Caves, Morehead, Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. We are approximately 20 minutes from the nearest store so you'll want to come prepared. We are located in West Liberty (Morgan County). There is a centrally located bathhouse with toilet, shower and sink and a hose for potable water. We have firewood for sale for $15 per bundle and is an extra option when booking(use what you need during your stay and it is located at the tent sites), you can bring your own and you are welcome to gather from the surrounding area but please do not cut down any living trees/limbs.

It is a family farm set in the beautiful hills of eastern Kentucky. We have 600 acres of mountains that have amazing views, hiking trails, wildlife and tranquil creeks. Our family would love to welcome you to our farm! Learn more about this land: Roaring Shoals is a family farm. This campsite is a double capacity with full hookup, located in a rural community halfway between Jackson and Salyersville on Highway 30 East. The site is close to the road; however there is much woodland to explore located on the property. We have small waterfall and a natural rock formation that can be hiked to. There is a shoal a very short walk from the campsite that is a wonderful place to enjoy the creek! There is great cellular service if your device uses Verizon towers, as there is a tower on the property. This is the perfect place to come and relax if you are visiting the area. It is approximately 12 miles from a small town with local restaurants and convenience stores. Our farm raised , dry aged black angus beef can be purchased if available; please check availability by calling a few days prior to your stay. You may also purchase firewood that was harvested from our property which is a certified tree farm. Our cattle are raised on another of our properties located a few miles up the road. We would be happy to schedule a time to take you there to see where they are born and raised.
