Haymark Farm is a 285-acre farm in Ewing, KY, where alfalfa hay is produced. The farm has picturesque ridges and hills at one of the highest elevations in the area, allowing spectacular sunrise and sunset views. Our farm is located on the property where the ferry brought individuals across the KY River from Versailles, KY. We are a private farm and live here for the pleasure of the land, the quiet from the city, and the outdoor activities. We want to share this with our guests.

Our 35-acre property offers immediate access to the KY River, and is within 5 minutes of an extremely quaint downtown area, should you decide to go to town for a meal. Plenty of restaurants for your choosing! 7 minutes away is a Walmart should you forget anything. Come and relax in our peaceful surroundings. Horses, goats, chickens, mini mules, and mini horses on site and loving attention. Bring your frisbees, cornhole, and yard games.

This place is out in the country away from the clutter of urban life; a place of solitude and peace and quietness. Primitive Tent Camping available. If you wanna visit old historic towns you have Augusta Ky where George Clooney’s was raised and family resides. You also have historic Maysville close to the Ohio River. Nice spot. Open field with a fire pit, picnic table, some trees, and next to the river. Host was very responsive to my messages and only took a minute or two to respond. There is a very very friendly cat on the farm and it will hang out either you by the campfire. Woke up with some horses walking up to us to say hi (friendly as well). Only downside was some dogs barking in the middle of the night.

Beautiful property! My husband and I brought our two dogs for a peaceful weekend in our travel trailer. The location had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed several hiking trails in the area, grilled delicious meals under the large shelter, and relaxed by the fire with a perfect view of the stars. This location exceeded our expectations and the onsite bathroom was a bonus! We highly recommend this spot and will be back next fall!

Our group included a set of grandparents and a family of 4 with two toddlers. This was a private campground in a quiet area. Some campsites had electrical outlets that were not compatible with our setup, but we located ones that were. There was a play area for the kids with a bit of play equipment suitable for different age groups, and a horseshoe pit. The resident dogs were friendly and visited our sites each morning. The owner was friendly and helpful and made sure we were settled in and had what we needed. If you are looking for a quiet out-of-the-way campsite, not too many frills but all you need for a fun camping experience, as opposed to more modern, bustling camping experience, then this quaint campground is for you!

I just got back from a 3 night stay at Savys Retreat and I’m already planning my next trip. It’s in a beautiful part of Kentucky, especially in the fall. The property sits down a dead end road, single lane but well maintained, and it’s one of the last places out there so it’s quiet, private, and peaceful.
Everything about the site is well thought out and taken care of. You can tell the owners take pride in it. The setup felt more like an RV resort than a campsite, plenty of space, clean, and everything you could need. I spent my evenings sitting by the fire watching the sunset, then stayed out until the stars came out. Hard to beat that.
The hosts were quick to respond, friendly, and made sure everything was just right.
If you’re looking for a relaxing, private spot to unwind, this is it.

Amazing property with tons to explore. Host met us upon arrival and gave us all the details we needed. The overall property is rolling hills, fields, and forest. There are creeks, cliffs, rock walls, and more. The flat spot for an RV is plenty large enough for our little 17' RV, a table, and fire. Getting in and out with a large RV might be more of a challenge due to the layout. We pulled in on the right side of the hookups, and turned as far away from the road we could, but you really can't turn away from the completely. Maybe if you back in and cut just past the hookups? A larger RV might need to back in? Highway 11 is pretty noisy during the day (but has little traffic at night) as it is elevated from the campsite. The tent areas were probably quieter. The kids enjoyed the visits from the friendly dog, and we had another dog go on a hike with us. We got to pet the horses.
15 Minutes from Natural Bridge and driving distance to plenty of other Red River Gorge area hikes and sites.
No picnic table provided (clearly noted in amenities), so bring a table with you!

This site worked well for a 3 day weekend trip to Daniel Boone National Forest. I like quiet places that are secluded and this worked well. We got a site right next to a creek and there were 3 mountains on 3 sides. It was the end of lane so no houses, but the owner does live a few hundred feet way. Besides the owners, there was nobody else around and it was very quiet at night. The star gazing was incredible.

Great experience camping here for the first time . We arrived and greated upon arrival the man showed us the spots available and let us choose whichever we liked . The sites are nice and spacious with a fire pit set up . Had a great experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a camping location. Gas stations and food spots are also near by .

My 5 nights here were awesome! It's out in the woods on a curvy mountain road on the side of a hill with a level packed gravel site under a cover. The dead end road to it is 1 lane with few neighbors and is very peaceful. The covered site and the half bath were great. Absolutely the best Hipcamp out of the 7 I have stayed at for sure. Squirrels barking in the trees, and hoot owls at night, and a great firepit with wood......a great place to chill out and unwind! I will definitely be back next Spring with my Harley to ride the awesome twisty, curvy mountain roads in the area! I hiked Turkey Foot, West and East Pinnacle trails and Flat Rock trail. It's 20 minutes to Berea with many places to shop and eat.

Our creekside camp was perfect! The creek is nice and clean, there are trails on the property and there’s even a small cave. There’s plenty of level ground for tents… and the view of the stars is awesome. It’s about 25 minutes to the Natural Bridge trail. The owners live on site and were very welcoming. We spent 3 days and 2 nights and had an amazing time!

Absolutely fantastic stay! The kids roamed free and loved the animals. We hiked up the creek, which was so gorgeous and found the “witch’s” shed. Kevin was such a lovely host. We enjoyed getting to know him and the pets! We will definitely be back in the summer to swim in the creek and river.
