36mi from Frankfort · 2 sites · Tents, LodgingWelcome to Monkey Monkey Holler!
A little slice of riverfront paradise where you can camp, relax, explore, and soak it all in.
Enjoy stunning river views, a beautiful willow tree perfect for sunset watching, two fire pits, and a spacious grassy field open for tents of any size. Stairs lead to the river, where you can launch kayaks and paddleboards from our old dock — or take the adventurous route and jump right in!
Important safety note: The dock is old and broken (as shown in the pictures). It gets the job done, but it can be very slippery, so extreme caution is needed if you intend to use it. Monkey Monkey Holler is a work in progress, and we will eventually replace the dock with a new one.
Have two cars? Drive one up to Kelly’s Landing, launch your kayak or paddleboard, and float the river all the way back to Monkey Monkey Holler, passing beautiful waterfall outcroppings along the way.
Guests can also enjoy our outdoor kitchen and whimsical Paradise Patio (shared with the homeowners), complete with an outdoor clawfoot tub and fairy lights.
We love meeting new people and hope this feels like a home away from home for our guests. We’d love for you to feel free to join us around the fire in the evenings (when available) — we truly enjoy getting to know our guests, sharing stories, and making everyone feel right at home.
Important to note: No monkeys are actually present at this location. We have dreams and future plans of creating a playscape where kids and kids-at-heart can pretend they are monkeys!
About the Hosts
Meet Your Hosts
We’re a small family who feels incredibly lucky to call this beautiful riverside property home. My name is Aizen, and I live here with my sister and her partner, along with my two daughters, ages 8 and 6.
We love spending time outdoors, enjoying the river, gathering around the fire, and making the most of this peaceful little corner of nature. We’re happy to share it with our guests and hope you’ll feel comfortable, welcome, and at home during your stay.
We’ll be nearby if you need anything, but we also respect your privacy and want you to have plenty of space to relax, explore, and enjoy the river at your own pace.
