Our farm provides equine and nature programs for child and families. We have been in existence since 2001. Happy to share our primitive beautiful surroundings with other like minded folks. When you enter the driveway, you will see a camp sign. We will come to the Metal gate, which will be closed. Please open the gate come through and re-close as horses are at large. Drive straight to the back of the property past two barns one on your right and one on your left as you approach you will see a long house with a deck and a porch to the left of that house and your campsites are straight ahead. Rustic Cedar Fire cabin

Our cabin is set in a woodsy farm area, with plenty of privacy and places to walk the trails you might see the birds, the animals on the farm as well. We also have a bathhouse with a total of six showers. One side is Family Access, and or men only depending on the campers. The other side is for women only. There is plenty of space to run and play and there is a big gazebo to use for your privacy as well. There are several fire pits, which is either a private one behind your cabin or a communal one. You can visit our animals on the farm, (horses, dos, cats and chickens) as well as perhaps see some wild Kentucky animals in this environment. Bring your cameras and hiking shoes for sure.

Site 3 - Cedar Fire Kamp
The sites were clean and well maintained. The bathhouse was such treat to have running utilities like a washer/dryer and the water was always hot in the shower. Being able to wander on their beautiful property seeing all the animals was by far the best part. We got to me so many dogs, cats, and horses! What Thecla has created on her farm is truly magical.

Dr T, our host was great. This camp was just what our group of 4 was looking for. A 1 night stay in Kentucky, where we could bed down for a night, before our drive back home to Wisconsin. We camped in the hills of her property, where 30 of her horses roamed wild. Reminded me of Grayson Highlands on the AT. This may not be for everyone, but we loved it!

We had a great time at Cedar Fire Farm despite the weather not really cooperating (rain). The property is beautiful and well kept and the hosts very accommodating. We had plenty of privacy and the provided firewood and the bathhouse were wonderful bonuses! Would not hesitate to stay again.

Stayed at Cedar Fire Kamp this weekend and I enjoyed it so much. We stayed in a tent even though it was so hot everyday we were still happy with our time at the camp. I absolutely loved the horses and how friendly they were. Would suggest staying there to other people

Upon arrival I was greeted, and shown around the property. theres a lot cool features here including horses but I was unable to get very close probably because I had my dogs scent on me. The campsites are very accessible and theres even a handicap accessible spot. The owners are very genuine, they do have a large German Shepherd but he is friendly and Illusive. Theres two cool cabins that are really neat, and aesthetically pleasing.
