Although private, surrounded by trees, it is a very convenient location on hwy 68, 3 miles East of Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky. There is a 50 amp outlet available near the gravel pad. We have a 30’ cord available. Water is available. This is a single private site. No other campers at this location. We have an antique store 125’ away that is open to the public once per month and hosts occasional creative classes. The store cannot be seen from the camp site so you will enjoy complete privacy. Also note there is a paved bike trail across the highway so easy access for bicyclists. The pond is stocked with bass and blue gill for a photo op and release. Learn more about this land: Our place is close to 64 & 69. It's a late-1800's farmhouse with an antique barn situated in the middle of an industrial park, so it can be loud during the day. Since we've added a gravel parking lot for barn concerts, there are just a few camping spots. Vehicles are welcome. We sometimes have a portajohn. You can sit around a fire on our property and look at the stars at night (when there's not a fire ban). The Blue Grass Fish and Wildlife Area is a up the road. You could ride your bike there, kayak, canoe, fish, etc. Fyi, we have honeybees, so if you're allergic to honeybees stings, be equipped. The bees rarely bother us, but they can be seen feeding on clover, so wear shoes if you're allergic. Otherwise, we recommend bare feet on the ground while being conscious where you're traversing. If you're interested in herbs and/or foraging , classes may be available depending on availability/season.

14.5 acres in South Eastern Illinois only an hour from Shawnee NF and Garden of the Gods to the south or an hour east to Rend Lake. Evansville Indiana is the nearest larger city. My wife and I live here in our barn with our two dogs. We raise chickens, ducks and geese and have a large garden. The property has trails into the woods sections where you will find plenty of places to pitch a tent. There are also some old growth trees including a Tulip Poplar that is awe inspiring. We loved camping at Bill & Robin’s land. The drive in was a little windy and it took us away from the hustle & bustle. The sites are all next to each other but spaced enough for privacy and they were perfectly flat! We loved the land. It was on a farm with chickens, a turkey, and ducks! We fished on a pond before taking showers in their sparkling clean restrooms. Although they had fill hookups but it’s nice when you don’t have to use your own when traveling in a class B. We had a great time and recommend for a night or two.
