Gravel driveway leads up to both spots. We do try to keep it maintained, but frequently rain causes ruts faster than we can fill. It should not impede drivability, but use caution and feel free to ask if you have any concerns. #1 improvement planned is paving driveway. You may also experience some vehicle noise from roadway. Typically, as we are on a back road, it is fairly quiet but some drivers may be louder than others and some evenings see more traffic.
Level gravel area for RV parking, second plateau available for multiple tent sites. Campfires in designated area.
Deer, wild turkeys, opossums, crows and raccoons are plentiful and often wander through. Less common are foxes and bald eagles that make their home at Doe Run Lake nearby.

The directions to the camper were pretty easy to follow. Private and cute little spot. I wish it had been cooler during our stay so we could enjoy the firepit on the porch. The camper itself was very comfortable. Well stocked with basic kitchen amenities. The bed was super comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

One of the prettiest and most thoughtfully designed Airbnbs I've ever stayed in! Everything was spotless, well organized, and the hosts truly thought of every little detail, we never needed anything that wasn't already there. We arrived while it was raining, and the views were absolutely amazingggg, making the whole place feel even cozier. It was easy to find. My only tinyyyy wish is that checkout was at 11 AM instead of 10 AM since the checkin was 4pm I believe, but everything else was perfect. Can't wait to come back!

The Cottle Cabin was wonderful. It was very clean and has comfortable sleeping space for up to six people. The downstairs bedroom features a cozy queen‑size bed, and the loft area provides additional sleeping space that’s perfect for kids, teens, or anyone who enjoys a tucked‑away, cabin‑style place to sleep.
The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The front porch is perfect for sitting outside and listening to the wildlife, and the campfire area—with its sturdy picnic table—made our evenings especially enjoyable.
The host is incredibly accommodating, checks in to make sure you have everything you need, and is available if anything comes up.
If you’re not interested in tent camping and don’t have an RV, this cabin is the ideal alternative.
We’re already looking forward to returning in the fall or winter to enjoy a fire in the woodstove.

Staying at this site was truly one of the most if not THE most relaxing bnb experiences I’ve had. I thought it would be a bit further back on the property but it is still just perfect. Everything was so cozy, the temperature control inside is perfect and that porch is to die for!! The couch and bed inside too is so comfy. You can tell the work this couple put into the renovations and upkeep here to keep it gorgeous and serene. The price nightly couldn’t be better either so this will definitely be my go to stay when I come out to Louisville! It’s about 30 minutes from most things so it was just the perfect “outside the city” stay❤️

First of all, the host makes or breaks any camping trip! Liz was kind, patient and easy to talk to! You knew she would love to help any time! The cabin itself was amazingly beautiful with old-school charm. Everything was repurposed and rebuilt. No technology and perfectly quiet! If you want to disconnect from the world of tech, stay a night or two here! My wife and I especially enjoyed the bench swing while enjoying a cozy fire!

The Air Stream was clean, nice decor, and had all the essentials plus a/c and good WiFi!
There was privacy from the other camping camper guests and the environment was peaceful.
The owner was kind and responsive.
It was super convenient tp nearby places of interest and the sweetest, dogs, pigs and chickens who came to visit us each day made it our chosen place to stay when we visit friends in the area.

So fun! We stayed the weekend here and didn’t leave after arriving. There’s a ton to do, hiking, an awesome creek, games, bon fire, TV, and a cute “panty” in the barn with glamping goods. The cabin also had a well equip kitchen with a mini fridge. Not to mention the sweet bucket shower with HOT water! Such a game changer. The hosts were so nice and helpful too!
