Nestled in a secluded forest setting, this elevated tent stay features a real bed, cozy textiles, ambient lighting, and thoughtfully curated décor that blends rustic charm with boutique luxury. Guests enjoy access to private bathhouse facilities with showers, polished concrete floors, and vanities that add convenience with hair dryers, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Unwind beneath the trees in your private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, relax in lounge seating under glowing string lights, or enjoy outdoor movie nights in the fresh evening air. Located just minutes from historic downtown Madison, the Ohio River, Clifty Falls State Park, wineries, and hiking trails, The Velvet Buck offers a peaceful yet convenient escape — ideal for romantic getaways, celebrations, or a restorative retreat in nature. Enjoy a relaxed outdoor stay at one of our Curated Campsites at The Enchanted Collective near Madison, Indiana. Each site includes a 16-foot bell tent on a ground level deck already set up for your arrival, offering the charm of glamping while keeping the spirit of traditional camping without you having to buy a tent! The tent features a king size air mattress, two nightstands with rechargeable lights, and access to restrooms and showers. This site also features a porch swing next to the fire pit, dining table, tiki torches, zero gravity chairs, generator and a cooler. You provide your linens, pillows, citronella oil if you wish along with ice for the cooler. (You can purchase this onsite if you would like along with firewood) Both of our bell tent sites offer shade and sun and are generously sized and offer gravel under the firepit and dining table area. Add-ons available: we offer private hot tub escapes where you can soak and gaze at stars from a relaxing hot tub. We also offer pedal and picnic packages for full or half days with electric bikes and picnic lunch. PLEASE NOTE: We offer a Guest House that is on property (approximately 300 ft) from these campsites. Here you will find potable water, showers and bathrooms. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body soap and a hair dryer but please bring your own towels.

Our 25-acre property offers a wooded tent site where you can enjoy stunning starlit skies, a dining table, firepit with a cooking grate, and string lights for that perfect evening vibe. Bathrooms and showers are available, though you’ll need to bring your own towels. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided. The sites are primitive. Potable water available. For an extra treat, indulge in private hot tub escapes or rent electric bikes with picnic options for an additional fee. Firewood is available on-site, and all sites feature a pleasant mix of sun and shade.

The Velvet Buck – Private Glamping Retreat Nestled within a peaceful wooded setting, The Velvet Buck offers a spacious and secluded glamping experience designed for comfort, privacy, and connection with nature. Situated on a large parcel of land with generous spacing between accommodations, the site provides guests with a quiet, immersive outdoor stay without feeling crowded. Guests have access to their own dedicated glamping area, featuring a furnished canvas tent, outdoor seating space, fire pit, and a spacious deck. The highlight of the site is the private hot tub, allowing guests to relax under the stars and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty in complete privacy — whether it’s a peaceful morning soak or an evening unwind after exploring the property. There is approximately 100 ft between our two glamping tents with trees and bushes in between also. The glamping tent does have a private toilet in it, but no shower. Showers are accessed via a nearby bathhouse facility, located a short walking distance from the site. The bathhouse includes restrooms and showers designed to support a comfortable stay while maintaining the rustic charm of the experience. We provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and towels for our guests. Guests are welcome to explore the property’s natural features, including wooded trails, open green spaces, and scenic overlooks. Activities such as hiking, wildlife watching, and nature photography are available directly onsite, with additional curated experiences offered seasonally. The Velvet Buck is reservation-only, ensuring a low-density, romantic environment ideal for couples, solo travelers, or anyone seeking an escape in nature with elevated comforts.

Beautiful experience!

Curated Campsite-bring your own tent

We stayed at the bring your own tent site for 2 nights in August. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the bathroom is better than any I’ve seen! The owners are very responsive, friendly and accommodating. We will certainly be back and hope to try the velvet buck soon!

I recently stayed at a bell tent campsite, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. When I arrived, the tent was already set up and fully equipped with an air mattress, tables, and lights, making the check-in process completely stress-free. The campsite itself was thoughtfully arranged with a fire pit and plenty of firewood on hand, plus solar lights surrounding the area that created a cozy glow at night. There was a table and chairs right on site, along with a charming love seat swing that quickly became my favorite spot to relax and take in the scenery. The host went above and beyond by providing a cooler and a generator, which made the stay even more comfortable. A clean bathroom and shower were just a short walk away, which was a huge plus for convenience. Overall, this campsite perfectly combined comfort with the charm of outdoor living, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-prepared glamping experience.
