Weekend Trip to The Harrican Lakehouse

Warning: Be prepared to be AMAZED by the property that surrounds the lakehouse!!! My friends and I had a WONDERFUL time! Bridgett is very sweet and personable. The house is decorated beautifully and the outdoor area is perfect for hanging out for the duration of your trip!!! I will be back Bridgett and thank you for sharing your sweet piece of land with the community❤️

So much fun!! It’s actually very roomy for a camper and the hot tub was great. We couldn’t figure out the settings and the maintenance guy came right over to help. Firewood provided plus everything to make s’mores

Bridgett was sooo kind! This place was absolutely beautiful and worth the drive out there! I'm so glad I booked this property, plus they were so accommodating for what I needed. One of the nights, the sky was absolutely stunning with stars and I woke up to a gorgeous sunrise! Highly recommend coming here! I also got to take a peek at the lake house, and that is gorgeous too! You can go wrong by booking here! I definitely plan to come back with friends!!🥰🥰

Such a quaint and lovely place. We were caught up in a rainstorm there, but the rain pattering on the tin rooftop sounded so nice. Got up early to watch the non-sunrise (too many clouds). From about 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM there was total silence until a Carolina wren started calling. Watched salamanders swimming in the turquoise colored water. Our 18 month old dog loved the freedom and took laps around the pond. It was a heartwarming time.

Very peaceful! Expect to disconnect! Limited cell service and no TV. Access to multiple trails within the Daniel Boone National Park nearby. We enjoyed an amazing sunrise and had the benefit of drinking our coffee on the wrap around porch. If you are looking for a place to eat, I highly recommend Habanero Mexican Grill in London. Large fire pit.

The lakehouse was a perfect quiet Christmas getaway for me and my two little dogs. It feels private but not secluded, and there’s all the basics you need with no fussiness, and it’s so cute. Bridgett was sooo kind and even brought over a plate of Christmas dinner. Even in winter, this spot is so pretty and serene. Super cozy. Would come back.

I really enjoyed our camp area! The hot tub and theatre was great. I also really liked the camp fire area and the s’mores provided was a great addition! Very clean and pretty private. I would love to stay again in the future.

Even though there is complete peaceful seclusion it does get a little noisy when the bullfrogs start their evening ritual. There is a dock and pier perfect for fishing or swimming. Firepit, grill with gas provided, two boats, fishing poles, lots of seating on the wrap around porch, two bedrooms; one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds and just lots of natural beauty and peace! One must be limber and able to climb on hands and knees to reach the four single beds. Claustrophobics beware - The highest point in the loft is 3 feet. We do offer a pull out sofa bed if the loft isn't appealing. We do have an alarm system in the tiny house that will be disarmed during your stay. We do ask that guests not attempt to arm the system. If it is set off, the police will automatically be called and come for a visit. We have it for long periods of time where our tiny house is unattended. We have multiple outdoor cameras that will be recording 24/7 during your stay. We only pull the video if a problem arises. Per our insurance-We love all dogs, but our insurance company says no to Akitas, American Staffordshire Terrier (Pit Bulls), Chows, Presa Canarios, Rottweilers, Shar-peis, Wolf Hybrid, Mixed with predominately with a listed breed) No exotic animals or any animals that display aggressive behavior. We allow ONE dog under 70 lbs. If you bring a dog- pick up the waste from yard.
