This campground can be found within city limits of Dwight, Ks located in northern Morris County along the Union Pacific Railroad line. It's the perfect place to stay during your back road adventure through the Flint Hills.
Enjoy exploring the four corners of our small town on two feet, two wheels or four. Have a picnic or play horseshoes at the City Park, visit the Dwight Library or attend a Sunday service at the Community Church. On Main Street you can find two large limestone structures from the early days of Dwight - the old limestone hardware store and the limestone bank/post office.
Dwight is minutes from Ag Heritage Park and Museum in Alta Vista; the historic Council Grove with shopping, restaurants, lakes and Flint Hills Nature Trail; and Fort Riley Army Base, home of the Big Red 1.

A hidden gem in Topeka, KS. Roughly 44 acres and 41 buildings and cabins for your stay. We have a creek that runs through the property and you can bring your kayak or fishing poles. We also have roughly 3 miles of wooded trails for you to explore. There is a playground for the kids to play on, a basketball court, and a sand volleyball pit. This is very camp at the lake style. Bedding is not included for camp bunk beds. Cabins do not have restrooms built in, but we have shower houses on site for you to use. They do have electricity, heat, and air conditioning. There is a heritage wheat mill within 1 mile that hosts a scenic steam train that runs on schedule several days per week. Had we known there was such a place as the Geist Farm, we would never have wasted time camping at state parks or campgrounds. This place is as close to nature as you can ever find, without the nightly sounds of loud strangers around a campfire 20 yards away, slamming car doors in the middle of the night, car alarms at midnight, or sitting around an early morning campfire with dozens of other similar campfires in close proximity. There’s just one campsite here. It’s serene. It’s beautiful. They have mowed walking trails through the woods, have a well stocked pond of catfish (catch & release), a campfire area, plenty of room to set up your tarp shelter and tents, and a bathroom and shower not too far away. It’s as close to the perfect campsite as you can ever get. Most importantly, the Geists are kind consummate professionals. They make the perfect camping experience easy. Give their camping home-away-from-home a try. You will not regret it.

What a beautiful place to stay! Very peaceful. We woke up in the morning and saw a horse with her foal. Our son was so happy. There were fireflies all over at night which made the stay more magical. Our only downside was that we couldn't stay longer. Steve was great to communicate with and took great care of us. We will definitely be back.

Dave was super friendly and accommodating when there was storms. The area is super cool. We stayed at base camp and there were picnic benches, covered areas with seating, a playground, and more. About 2 min down the road there is a state park on the lake. There is also a porta-potty, shower, and lots of fire pits!!

We loved tent camping here! The land is spacious and beautiful, especially the millions of fireflies that came out at night. The hosts were not home when we arrived so their parents greeted us so warmly and made us feel comfortable and safe. The barn with toilet and shower were a huge plus too! Would absolutely recommend.

My wife and I absolutely loved this spot! The pond was beautiful ( and full of fish), the area was maintained wonderfully, very private, and the hosts were friendly and down to earth!
