A lot of work has been put into restoring this missile silo and the tour is very informative.
Matthew is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the future of this silo.

This was such a beautiful place! I only wish we could've stayed longer! Very private, beautiful scenery, the soft tranquil sounds of the cattle and crickets in the background. Perfect! The host was so accommodating - over the top honestly. We arrived late and the nearest grocery was closed. He was happy to bring us a meal and was so welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

Rylie"s Retreat WAS A TREAT! I had a really nice time camping on this spot. Lots of trees that bring great shade for the heat of Kansas during the week I was there. I was very quiet., peaceful and laid out nicely. Lots lof land to explore. Natural cliffs and a beautiful landscape create a really nice place to come camping.

What a great campsite! This is an excellent place to stay a night or two if traveling across Kansas. Tom is awesome and made sure everything is perfect, with picnic tables, tons of firewood, an outdoor shower and a compost toilet in the bathroom...all located amongst trees that provide privacy. Highly recommended.

I’ve stayed here 3 or 4 times over the last few years and it’s one of my absolute favorite places. Chad and Cynthia are great and it’s the exact type of camping experience I prefer. Secluded but you can easily take a short walk to visit other campers if you’d like. You can’t hear cars driving in the distance and it’s very peaceful. They supply a bundle of wood which is fantastic as well. Absolute best spot to stop while traveling and want to find a good spot in Kansas. Especially if you’re heading to Denver and need a spot to camp along the way.

Huge plus , after long days drive, was meal I bought from Chad and Cynthia, local beef can't be beat. A short walk to a porta pottie was great to have! Nice fire pit with wood. Enjoyed walking the property.

Beautiful Land, loved the animals, campsite was nice and big and had trees which covered us during the heat of the day! Chad was very nice and you can tell he takes great care of his land! We had unlimited firewood which helped for us! The closes town was about 30 min away so you were in depths of rolling hills and a river away from everyone!

The site where I set up my tent was idyllic. Amazing view of the sandstone cliffs right next to the river. Very peaceful and loved hearing the cows, mourning doves and bull frogs. Chad was very responsive and helpful. Cynthia’s zucchini bread is delicious!

This spot is exactly with our group needed after a long day on the road. Chad welcomed us and we added on a great meal which we cooked by the fire in a private and remote area. The 50amp access was perfect for charging the EV and the sunset and sunrise was awesome. We particularly enjoyed seeing the horses (and a mule) on our way out west. The roads leading to the ranch are surreal, if you are heading west, take the long way out in the morning.

We tent camped one night on this lovely farm. The flies were a bit annoying as soon as we arrived but it is a farm after all. We stayed right by the creek and used the firewood provided to make a nice meal. We saw some lovely cows on the way in, as well as crossing and grazing through the creek. So cute. The camp site itself was private and surrounded by trees on one side, and a beautiful cliff on the other. I would recommend ear buds if you are a light sleeper! Cicadas, cows mooing, other random noises, can be heard all through the night. Also beware of shoes outside the tent as little crawlers kept making their way into our shoes/sandals. Bug repellant is also a must as the mosquitos are pretty ravenous. The bathroom situation is also less than ideal. From most tent sites, it is a long walk and the outdoor shower was down when we were there. There is also a big brown spider who has redecorated the place quite nicely.
