You won't believe you are still in Kansas! C2T Ranch is a working regenerative cattle ranch, with over 4 miles of Saline River running through it. Amazing 150' tall limestone cliffs rise above river and several spring fed creeks feed into the river. There is hiking galore in the canyons or on the cliffs, fishing in the rivers, or bird watching on the native prairie above the cliffs. Fossil hunters can find a variety of fossilized shells, as well as native septarian and calcite for the rockhounds.
Our picturesque, secluded campground has primitive and powered campsites, plus several glamping tent, all dispersed along an amazing horseshoe bend of the Saline River, each with direct river access. We're only a 20 minute drive north of Hays, Kansas and I-70, come visit us today!

Super easy to find. Chad met us at the entrance and took as to the site. Site was clean and well kept. We added on the burger dinner and were not disappointed. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to C2T Ranch on the Saline River
This was my second time camping at C2T but my first time staying in one of the glamping tents. The bed was comfortable and the nighttime star gazing was perfect with no light pollution. It was 100+ degrees the day we got there, but opening up the vented semi-circles around the bottom edge of the tent made it much more bearable inside. It’s also much closer to the porta-potty than the regular tent camping spots, and they offer extras such as unlimited firewood and homemade baked goods/meals.

The clear night's were great for stargazing, and during the day we cooled off in the river. I would recommend walking around to find various spots to enter the river. We took the short, steep hike to to the top of the limestone bluffs, and it was worth the work!!

This is a beautiful farm along the Saline River. The rock wall on the other side of the river make it even more beautiful. The glamping tent itself was so nice and the bed was very comfortable. The fire pit was such a nice size and some firewood was included at the site. I went for a nice little walk and there are several sites for tent and RV camping too. What a blessing to own such a beautiful piece of land and thank you for sharing it with us.

We absolutely loved the C2T Ranch! Both Chad and Cynthia are very welcoming and wonderful hosts! They offered extra amenities on top of a Glamping tent choice. We Glamped there for the first time. The tent was clean and spacious. The blankets and pillows were clean and ready to roll for us. We took advantage of the food baskets offered. We loved the brats, hamburgers, and potatoes. The next morning we had the cinnamon rolls delivered and they were nice and warm, ready to eat! Soo good! We also bought some homemade zucchini bread and jam made from the fruit on the property. My older boys back home loved it when they tried it. We opted for the ATV Tour and viewing of the artifacts and property where the battle of the Buffalo soldiers took place with the Cheyenne Indians. It was such a great History lesson and took us back in time. We enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of the Ranch campground. We learned some great history and some much needed R&R. Our daughter Hannah who is 5 really enjoyed her stay and found some really cool rocks to add to her collection. Chad was our tour guide and he is very knowledgeable of the events that took place on this property going back to the original settlers. If you are looking for Rest Relaxation and Adventure, this is the place to go!

My family of three and I stayed here after a 12 hour drive from Wisconsin. Chad was a great commincator, was there to great us at 10pm, and even set up our last minute request for an air mattress. We stayed in a yurt which was clean, cozy, and had a lovely view. Will definitely come back!

The beauty and privacy cannot be matched! We are nature loving history geeks and C2T glamping is always a memorable experience. The tents are clean and well equipped. Chad and Cynthia know how to take care of their campground and recreational areas along the river to enhance the incredible beauty. They are excellent hosts and the ranch tour is a must. My favorite part was wading in a clear river again and we were both impressed with the tour. Oh, did I forget to mention the burgers and cinnamon rolls? Best in the world!

We loved camping at C2T! Chad and Cynthia were very responsive and attentive. We stayed in the yurt and loved it. It got warm in the middle of the day so I would definitely recommend bringing water/shade! The restrooms were very clean. An additional bonus was the super cute donkey!

This was our second year Glamping in the Yurts at C2T Ranch and we had a great time. If your looking for a relaxing getaway with some hiking possibilities then this place is great. Chad ford out of his way to make your stay relaxing. We got the burgers and cinnamon rolls and again they where out of this world! We needed ice, Chad brought some over and sold it to us. We needed to fill our water jug, he came and picked it up, took it refilled it, and brought it back for free. Firewood no problem he will bring you some Now that's Glamping! The Yurts are set up to run your equipment on solor and we had no problem. We hiked, found some fossils, checked out the wildlife and relaxed.

I loved my stay at the Kansas Sunflower tent! Chad and Cynthia were very welcoming and set up a cozy home away from home. It was very blustery and stormy with lightening the single night i was there, so didn’t build a fire. But the bed was quite cozy and i hunkered down for a good night’s rest. Felt very safe and secure. Wish i could have stayed longer to explore the trails on the ranch. The ranch and Kansas hills are beautiful.
If you are a meat eater, the burgers (from beef raised on the ranch) and brats (local food, too) were outstanding. Looking forward to trying the bread and jelly in the next day.
I had to leave early next day so grabbed breakfast at Pheasant Run Pancake House, a great breakfast spot in Hays.

Chad and Cynthia were responsive to messages and questions! There is a solar battery system in the bell tent that powers the lights and we used to charge our cell phones. The bed is really comfy! We just brought food, clothing, chairs, and basic cooking equipment. They brought us 5 gallons of drinking water in a cooler-type dispenser. We enjoyed the jelly we purchased as an add-on. The river had a lot of reeds in some parts and was more open in others. I bet it changes a lot throughout all the seasons. I saw 10 different wild flowers, turkey, deer, and dozens of kinds of birds. I've already booked my next visit.
