We just haven't committed to a name yet so it's a little bit of everything all rolled into one! 8 acres on the magical Ganges, er, White River makes for a fun time. You can expect a certain amount of privacy while still potentially making a new friend or two depending on the night. You will be nestled under some giant sycamores, cottonwoods, black walnuts, catulpas, and a mess of bush honeysuckle that is always being battled! We have 2-3 sites directly on the river and then scores throughout with trails, hills, and other interesting features. Multiple firepits though I CANNOT guarantee firewood. There is often plenty to collect or available on site but if you can bring your own that'd be safest bet! We are (somehow) located partially inside Muncie city limits right on the river. Yes you may occasionally hear some trains or even particularly loud cars while camping deep in the woods but this is the tradeoff for a one mile drive to bars, restaurants, and groceries! Best of both worlds. The Muncie Eagles, whose nest resides directly across the river from us, do not seem to mind! This location is also directly on two main bike trail routes and our trails are fun for low impact mountain biking! We also have a small armada of kayaks/canoes on site; IF arranged that option does exist for cost of transport! We have 2 porta potties on site as well and fresh water hose available at main house. David was very attentive to our needs and the cabin stayed very cozy with the heater on even during 13 degrees evenings. We loved this cabin and will love to come back to it later for the canoe.

Their location is rural and quiet. They use their animals to help benefit children with developmental issues, quite an amazing and beautiful calling! You won’t be sorry should you be in need of a place camp or RV for a bit! The nights are beautiful out there too! We ended up staying on longer than expected. Kool fact, while I didn’t think him cocky, waking to a rooster in the morning is actually really cool:)) It was super cold for most of the night we were there but Dave and Tara were gracious and kind and shared some flannel blankets to help keep lab River warm. Filled my heart with joy to be welcomed so. So grateful to have met them and found their wonderful location!! Added additional days as needed and they made everything wonderful! ML for these kind folks God has blessed them

This was my 10th visit to Camp David! It was freezing outside, but the cabin was warm, and the campfire was even warmer, under a moonlit sky. The cabin was so cute, decorated with Christmas decorations. Davis is a fantastic host! What a great way to spend my birthday!!!

We camped in the front of the camp site We had a nice spot and quiet. We took a trail and met other campers they were super friendly. The trails were really nice . We went to use the outhouse and a squirrel was in there, I ran so fast back the site I ran out of my shoes. I tried again later and a chipmunk ran across my foot . Needless to say we have a great story Host was awesone when bad weather was approaching. He even checked on us . Great visit and we will be back again.😆 🤣

The property has a little bit of everything for a wide variety of camp styles. The campsites are very well maintained. Even the trailways to the sites are kept in great condition. I was able to drive my Honda civic to my site without any issues at all. The woodland is very large. The trails were very enjoyable. Sites are spread out in ways that offer privacy, but the throughways create opportunities for connections with other families as well. Brian is super helpful and a pleasure to speak with. I definitely recommend this place. I will be going back someday for sure.
