There are 6 to 7 restaurants less than 2 blocks from the property. We are a working homestead. Gardens full of herbs, berries, grapes, Annual Vegetables in Season. We are working on a garden greenhouse, a 20 foot yurt with wood stove, and Chickens with Fresh Eggs laid daily (available for purchase) Owner works from home and is always a text away. There are dogs, community Cats, and a Cat Sanctuary Rescue called The Black Sheep Cat-tuary. There is plenty of parking for small RVs and Camping Vans, Cars, etc. There is fresh delicious, clean and tested well water, 2 fire pits (lots of wood available for purchase, or just pick up some sticks around the property from the shade trees) There is a creek for wading in, lots of cats to love on, and places for hammocks, Electric outlets available to charge a cell phone, or other devices, and a simple compost toilet. We also have a new to our farm rescued Great Pyreneese that is adjusting! She is in an enclosed pen behind our barn and should'nt cause you any trouble. Tina and Ron are awesome hosts with a great location - just far enough off the beaten path, but still convenient for travelers passing through for one night on a road trip. I was a same day reservation and communication was top notch. I knew before I arrived that I had made the right choice. Ron met me upon my arrival and directed me to my site. Had a wonderful night’s sleep in a peaceful location. I will definitely stay here again when I am passing through this part of Indiana. Thanks for a great stay!

This place is wonderful! The host and his family are friendly, attentive and work very very hard! Even the little girl was running around making sure everyone was takin care of! Great place! I felt safe and welcome. It’s very clean. Even the porta pot is clean! Highly recommended for anyone wanting a getaway! It’s well worth it! I can’t say enough about it. I’ve been to a lot of campgrounds and airbnbs and this one is one of the best

Weekend Trip to Cattail Springs

Cole & Janel were great hosts. The property was awesome with great personal space between camp sites. Cole was very attentive to our needs. We had family come to visit for the day and dinner. They enjoyed fishing and the peace and quiet at the camp. For a new private campground that is close to the freeway and shopping, this was a great spot and we will certainly be back when visiting family in Muncie. We stayed at the Eagles nest site which had 50amp power and water. Nice level spot to camp on with 26ft RV. Thank you Cole & Janel.

Weekend Trip to The Rusted Plow

Nice quiet place - until sunup when the chickens start to squawking. But really that’s part of the attraction. Site was nice with a fire ring and a relaxing view. Once dark the fireflies came out and it was really cool. The trip from the highway to Tina’s was interesting in itself and showed us a part of Indiana we didn’t know existed. We stopped for a quick overnight on our way west and it worked perfect for us.

Weekend Trip to Lazy Acres

We went as a group with like 23 people and we had a really good time! The host was amazing, really nice and helpful whenever we needed it. He brought us the firewood that we bought for a very fair price to our campsite and the port a potty was the cleanest port a potty I have ever been in for sure. There was a lot of stuff for our kids to play on ie, swing, playset etc. and there was plenty of space for our group to be a bit spread out but still have a communal place to be together as well. It was really quiet and not crowded since we rented out the whole area on the far side of the creek which was not far at all from our cars! All of my group liked this location and we would like to come back sometime again in the future. 😁
